WHAT IS i-ARC 2022?

As educators, it is important for us to share our I believe this is an interesting and
knowledge to learn from each other, enhance beneficial event for everyone to share
our creativity and improve our teaching and their outcome of their action research
learning sessions. I do believe i-ARC 2022 and the output from the research they
serves these purposes. have taken in schools.

THE PLANNING AND ACTIVITIES

BRIEFING With great hope and determination, the idea and groundwork for
& the International Action Research

PLANNING Competition 2022 began on September 6 th, 2022.
A team consisting of the members responsible for

core areas of the programme was formed and duties were
disseminated through the first online briefing conducted on
September 12 th, 2022. Upon the first briefing, each team

started their minute planning and efforts.

The highlight of this programme is the closing ceremony during which the
winners would be announced.

The event, which was planned to be conducted online was opened to all
participants, committee members and the public.

With such audience capacity, it was made compulsory to have not single but
double rehearsals for the event.

Each rehearsal was conducted through a hybrid mode
with the team responsible for the audio and technical settings being present

physically and the others virtually.
All shortcomings that were present during the first rehearsal were
successfully dealt with in the second with assurance to provide the best the

team could offer.

The closing ceremony, which took about an hour was successfully conducted on the 24 th of
November, 2022.

The ceremony begun with a doa recital, speeches by Director, Dr. Roslizam Hassan,
Associate Professor Dr Fauzi Abu@Hussin and Professor Dr Ariff Salleh, the Deputy and Dean of

the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, respectively.
Upon the officiating speech by the dean, the recipients of the awards and the winners of the

bronze, silver and gold were announced.
The ceremony was ended with a photo-taking session.
