A unifying arts focus
to revitalize and enrich
our community
ARTS COLLABORATIONS
MAD works with the Ben Wigfall family, Harambee, Arts
Mid-Hudson, and The Arc Mid-Hudson to promote the arts
and strengthen our community.
ARTS EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The Department of Regional Arts Workers (The D.R.A.W.)
offers quality visual arts programming to people of all ages
in the City of Kingston. PUGG’s workforce training offers
high school students academic credits and paid internships
in arts-related businesses.
ARTS LEADERSHIP
MAD produces an annual Celebration of the Arts EXPO,
promotes monthly 1st Saturday gallery openings, and
initiates Pop-Up Fine Arts Galleries. Our work has attracted
economic development grants and other funding.
ARTS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
MAD and Kingston Arts Commission secured support from
the City of Kingston to establish the Pauline Oliveros
Deep Listening Plaza to honor the internationally
renowned Kingston musician and create green space on
Broadway.
