Aloha and Welcome to Waimea Community
Theatre & Chorus’ production of
The Little Mermaid

We are honored to have you as our guest! This has been a VERY exciting production! We started
with over 150 individuals attending audition only 12 weeks ago. We originally cast 112 performers,

but as you can imagine, the rigor of trying to coordinate that many schedules, talent levels, and
individual personalities tightened our troupe just slightly. As you will see in just a few minutes,
the effort was worth it! We bring this beautiful story to life with just under a cast of 100--ALL of
whom are residents of our beloved Big Island ohana! Like drops in the ocean, each member of this

group is a passionate, vital part of the whole! We are so blessed to have so many incredible
volunteers both on stage and behind the scenes. We couldn’t put on a show of this size or this

caliber without the numerous people who worked diligently to make it happen!

The story of The Little Mermaid, as shared in this Broadway version, includes the classic songs and
scenes brought to life in the inspiring style of Disney. It also includes a few new numbers which
will soon have you singing along! Live theater is a unique form of art. It is collaborative, organic,
and personal. Our performers pour their hearts into their songs, dances, and the characters they are
bringing to life. We cannot share enough praises to truly let you know just how fabulous they each
have been during the past weeks. A simple mahalo nui loa does not seem to be quite enough to thank

them for all of their time, energy, and resources they have selflessly donated.
Cast and crew ~ WE LOVE YOU!

We are in particular awe of our tremendous costumer, Susie Krall! It is no easy task to dress
approximately 100 performers--some of whom have multiple costumes! Susie, you are an answer
to prayer! A final heartfelt thank you goes out to Eddy Cash-Dudley. YOU are here because of HER

amazing publicity efforts. Her goal was to make sure everyone on the island knew about this
production and I believe she came close to achieving it!

As we wrap up our personal note of thanks, we’d be remiss to overlook the generosity of our
underwriters and sponsors who financially make this event possible! Waimea Community Theatre

and Chorus is an organization completely run through volunteer efforts and we strive to bring
quality entertainment to our community. It costs a great deal of money to rent the beautiful

Kahilu space and to procure the rights to perform these shows. Since we attempt to make this quality
entertainment affordable for all families in our community, we rely heavily on the support of these

generous donors. Please make an effort to help me extend our appreciation!

And remember, Waimea Community Theatre is YOUR theatre group! If what we are doing
looks like fun to you, YOU’RE RIGHT! Look for opportunities to join us in future productions!

Spam-a-Lot is your next big musical opportunity!

Thank you again for choosing to attend our exciting production! Enjoy this program filled with our
wonderful partners who believe in bringing the arts alive! Then sit back and enjoy, The Little Mermaid!

Demand is outpacing the number of homes on
the market.

Sell now while your home stands out and the
market is in your favor.

Stacy Disney Presents… Buy now before interest rates go up.

How to time the sale of your home

Choosing the right moment to sell is a personal decision for homeowners. Consider these questions to
time your sale for maximum results:

Who rules in the current market?
Today, you do. It’s a seller’s market with a higher buyer demand and a shortage of listed homes driving
prices up. While home prices have been on the upswing over the last year, interest rates are set to rise
soon from their all-time lows

How long have you occupied your house?
If you’ve occupied the home you own for at least two of the past five years when you sell, sale profits up
to $250,000 per owner are exempt from taxes- that’s $500,000 for married couples. Time it right and
pocket those tax savings!

What time of the year is it?
Homebuyers are more plentiful during the spring and early summer months. Stacy Disney will work with
you to prepare the property to appeal to buyers who are out there waiting for a property like yours to
come up for sale.

What’s the condition of your home?
If your property is in need of some TLC, first complete those needed repairs before listing your home for
sale. Homebuyers want a home that is clean and move-in ready. The market is full of eager buyers. Even
better, buyers are willing to make offers in the first 30 days for clean, move in ready well priced homes.

If you don’t want to make repairs before selling, that works too – but a special buyer is needed and the
price will adjust accordingly. A cash buyer may make an offer taking the property condition into
consideration and often a rehab construction loan is needed to purchase a property in disrepair.

What effects do interest rates have?
Selling - Lower interest rates keep home values up. As interest rates begin to rise, buyer demand begins
to drop, and so may your home’s fair market value. Selling your home now while interest rates are lower
ensures you get the most out of your equity.
Buying - Lower mortgage payments on your next purchase. By selling now, you can take advantage of
your increased equity to place a larger down payment on your next purchase and lock in today’s low
mortgage rates before they rise.

If you’re thinking of selling, now is the best time to
cash in on your home
