Basic competencies are non-technical knowledge,
skills and attitude that everybody will need in order to
perform satisfactorily at work and in society and are
considered portable and transferable, irrespective of
jobs and industrial settings. While 21st century skills are
the broad set of knowledge, skills, work habits and
character traits believed to be critically important to
succeed in today’s world
OSH is one of the nine (9) 21st century skills integrated
in the basic competencies taught in tech-voc
