Dzikir 1: MORNING

Read once in the morning

• In the morning, we rise upon the fitrah of Islam
(religion of Islam), and the word of pure faith
(shahadatain),

• And upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬
• And the religion of our forefather Prophet Ibrahim,

who was a Muslim and of true faith and was not of
those who does syirik

Narrated by Ahmad no 15360, An-Nasai in Al-Kubro no 9743 and ‘Amal
al-Yaum wa al-Lailah no 1, sahih li ghoirihi

MORNING

Dzikir 1 - notes

In the morning me are upon the fitrah of Islam:
• It is really beautiful when a muslim starts his morning

praising Allah.
• To acknowledge how fortunate he is to be within the

nature of Islam – pure with tauhid and not polluted by
shirk.

Upon the sincere word:
• Namely the word of tauhid “Laa ilaaha illAllahu” – There

is none worthy to be worshipped except Allah. This is the
most glorious word.
• Whoever is upon this sincere word, means he is in the
greatest favor.

Upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬:
• Similarly, the greatest pleasure is that one is upon the

religion of the Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬
• It is the religion of Islam which is the most perfect

closing religion and covers the whole human race and
applies throughout the ages.

And upon the religion of our forefather Ibrahim,
• Our forefather Ibrahim stood on the straight path, a

muslim and did not belong to the musyrikun.
• The religion of Ibrahim; who with both hands destroyed

the idols of shirk and fought against the entire
population of his country in order to uphold tauhid.
