Here we lived a·relatively peaceful life, considering the fact that we were refugees. Then one day (over 430 · years ago) an event took place that was destined to change our lives like . never before in history: �n English • trader, by the name ·of Sir John Hawkins, came sailing his ship, THE GOOD SHIP JESUS, along the West Coast of Africa in search of the Bla�k Hebrews _who were prophesied to be.brought into slavery as the seed of Abraham. They had trees planted in positions where they would bend them and tie them, and then tie the head of. our Black fathers to one, his hands to another and his legs to two more, and proceed to cut the rope. And when they would cut the roJ:!e in a certain · way, the trees would snap up and pull the arms and legs of our poor Black HEBREW fathers right out of their sockets--pull him into four different parts. People have written about these evils in books. The evil, wicked beast slave master made our pregnant Black HEBREW mothers .watch, so that all the grief and fear that they felt would go right into that unborn baby; it would be born afraid, born with fear in it. Instead of finding ·gold as we were promised, we found a land that was a wilderness, an uncultivated, hostile land. Instead of payment, we were placed on slave blocks and auctioned off like cattle. · Our HEBREW fathers were brutally manhandled and forced to submit to examination by the scrutinizing eyes of a cold, vicious, evil, wicked, blood thirsty, slave trader. We were forced to take exercise to test ·our .stamina, and our mouths were yanked open like one would do a horse, so as to examine our teeth and tongue. Any protest by our people was reason enough for the slavemaster to administer a severe beati.ng with any weapon available. Our poor black HEBREW women's sexual organs were examined in . . such a manner as to cause the most impassionate husband to fly into a blinding rage. Their clothes were torn from their backs and they were . . farced to stand · before their captors stark naked, while a sleazy, lustyeyed, slave trader would come forth and examine them in a most personal manner. No other people have ever experienced such Inhuman treatment since the beginning of the hea�ens and the Earth. We were _forced to work like · animals and no pity whatsoever was shown to our poor mothers �nd fathers. Lashes were continuaily applied to our backs for the ·slightest . disobedience to.our slave masters. ·. We were driven across fields,· from sunrise to sunset, with not a minute's rest. No work was too hard, no weather too bad, no punishment too great for a slave. No distinction was made bet·ween male . . and female. Our poor·women were given th_e same tasks as men. Our poor women were forced into sexual relationships . with men they did not know. . Our poor women were forced to bear the seed of anyone whom the evil slave master sent to them. This evil slavemaster himself· would come and fill her womb with his wicked seed and turn around and sell the resulting children (Matthew 13:24-30). Pr�gnancy was not sufficient cause to lessen our poor mother's burden .. S'1e was forced to carry the same work _ load as a man even up · to the �ime of delivery; and then if she was caught lying down to deliver the child, she was severely beaten for "idling away her time." Thus, nothing we did satisfied our slave masters, and we we�e f�rced to do more and more, until finally, death eame and gave us a holiday.
