Sergeant Shmuel Weiss

Shmuel enlisted in the 51st Battalion of the Golani
Brigade and trained as a combat medic.

During Operation Defensive Shield, Shmuel fell while attempting to
rescue an injured soldier under enemy fire. The army awarded him a
posthumous citation for his sacrifice and dedication.

Amichai enlisted in the 51st Battalion of the Golani
Brigade, striving to follow in Shmuel’s footsteps.
Amichai fell in the Second Lebanon War in the battle of Bint Jbeil while
leading his soldiers in an operation against terrorists.

Captain Yoni Netanel

Yoni was a much valued and outstanding officer in the
Paratroopers Brigade who set high standards, paired
with endless concern and help, for the men under his command.
Yoni fell in Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip at the age of 26, leaving
a wife and a three-month old baby daughter.
