MESSAGE FROM THE AREA 5 CHAIRPERSON Warmest greetings to all Area 5 – Mildred Selepe members and welcome to the year 2024. I hereby acknowledge the maximum support I received from all the WMS and YPD members, at local and Area levels. Area 5 Executive Board members, the ever-hard-working team as well as local Presidents for assisting the Area 5 – Mildred Selepe Missionaries to stage various activities without fail and at high levels, both efficient and effectively through our 2023 year. I salute you all, including all Area YPD members. “LE SE PHETSE HO RAPELA” ROMANS CHAPTER 8, VERSE 31: “IF GOD IS FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US”? Together we hosted the East Conference WMS Planning Meeting with dignity. Through those challenges we encountered the Lord was still leading us. We took that event as a project, Planning Committee being Area 5 Commission On administration, including local Presidents. All our Meetings were very fruitful with mutual understanding. Cherry on top was the Courtesy Committee, serving visitors with humility. Thanks for the teamwork. Together we stand, divided we fall. We glorify His Name. 1 st CORINTHIANS, CHAPTER 16, VERSE 14: “LET EVERYTHING YOU DO BE DONE WITH LOVE”. MY PLEDGE TO AREA 5 – MILDRED SELEPE FAMILY: I promise and uphold the integrity of WMS and YPD Missionary Work. MY VALUES AS MISSIONARY WOMEN: Prayerful, Accountability, Dignity, Integrity, Quality, Respect, Responsibility, Service Oriented, Guidance, Tolerance, Productivity, Innovative, Commitment, Dedication, Selfness and Honesty. MY PURPOSE – TRAINING: Training is teaching or developing others any skills and knowledge that relate to our Mission Statement. Training has specific goals of improving one’s capability, productivity and performance. Referring to training, I promise to keep the light of Area 5 – Mildred Selepe burning through teaching and building one big team with dignity. With those few words let us together attentively participate in our 2024 Planning Session and let the Holy Spirit take control.
