Curriculum

Our teaching staff are highly qualified and very experienced and
class sizes are very small. Most tutors have a Masters Degree
and many have PhD’s. Students are tested weekly in every subject
area. We offer expert advice as to which courses are the most
appropriate to study with a careful eye on the student’s future
after College. We have an excellent library and learning resources
centre. Each student has a Personal Tutor who monitor each
student’s progress in academic and pastoral terms.

Co-curricular Activities

The College offers its students extensive programme of activities,
which varies from a wide range of regular activities, as well as
one-off events. These take place during lunch times and after
school hours, providing students with the perfect opportunity to
relax and have fun after an intensive day of study. Day-out events
also take place on some Saturdays. Our most popular sports
include football, basketball, badminton, table tennis and tennis.
These are run weekly and our Sports and Social staff also
organise regular in-house tournaments throughout the year
allowing students to develop leadership and team-building skills.
Besides the College’s own facilities, we also make use of some of
the best sports venues in the area such as a full-size, floodlit,
AstroTurf football pitch, professional tennis and badminton courts
and a full-size basketball hall. The College also holds classes such
as yoga and Zumba dance, with fully qualified visiting instructors.
A good number of students participate in the Olympiads, Young
Enterprise and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Special trips are
organised throughout the year for a range of activities, including
visits to the theatre.
