The district offers a myriad of activities that allow visitors to explore its diverse landscapes and immerse themselves in local traditions. Jungle adventures, cave explorations, chocolate tours, waterfall hikes, and Garifuna cultural experiences await adventurers seeking authentic encounters. Explore the ancient city of Lamanai, which includes two stone temples and various other structures. The district also offers a variety of activities for adventure seekers, including cave tubing and canoeing on the New River Lagoon, as well as kayaking and rafting at the nearby Rio Bravo Conservation area.
