No matter which one dose or two dose vaccine that you are able to get, they will help defend you against COVID-19. Anyone that wants a vaccine will be able to receive one, it just takes time due to the volume of residents that want one and the limited quantity of vaccines sent to the providers in our county. Call your local health department to schedule an appointment. COVID-19 RELATED SCAMS Be aware and cautious of three major scams related to COVID-19 about vaccines, social security or unemployment benefits. Local health departments will never ask for your social security number or banking information over the phone or in person at a clinic. If you or someone you know receives a call, the COVID-19 Response Team of Stark County asks you to report it. Please call the Statewide Terrorism Analysis and Crime Center (STACC) at 877.647.4683 or to the Stark County Sheriff’s Tip Line at 330.451.3937. We owe it to one another to prevent these scams. • Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and practice good hygiene • Wear a mask or facial covering over your nose and mouth in public settings and around others who don't live in your household • Keep a social distance of 6 feet or more from others when you leave your home • Cover your nose and mouth with tissue or sleeve when sneezing • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces daily including phones, remote controls, counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, toilets, keyboards and tablets • Stay home if you are feeling sick • Get tested if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms HELPFUL SAFETY REMINDERS AGAINST COVID-19 COVID-19 Safety Information
