SCHOOL’S
HISTORY

Liceo Juárez opened in August 9th, 2012, with just one floor and counting with 70
students. We were closer to each other because we were less people than now. There
were just a couple of teachers and the administrative area just count with 3 people
working, Samia, Lucia and Nati.
From 2012 to 2014 the number of students increased 50%, and they hired new
teachers. Also, from 2014 to 2018 the school grew even more.
The school improved their group relationships, 6 generations graduated and the
school won very important awards in sports and academic activities, like math and
English competitions.
The school´s main goal is to make its students have the best education possible. The
uniform colors represents life and peace, being green for life and white for peace.
Also the school´s name has two meanings, Liceo from the cultural part and Juárez
from Benito Juárez. In 2012, the school was incorporated to the Unacar system,
because it has more prestige in the state.
The differences between then and now are that there are more students, the school
organizes trips to different parts inside the state and outside the state, they certificate
now and try to make their students happier by making “parties” in special occasions
and all of this because of the coolest teachers in the school, Iris, Alejandro and Martin.

Mission

Educated in a new sense of human experience, promoting in learners
the cultivation of a critical awareness of the different contexts in your life
(moral, cultural, ecological, economic, technological, political) for the
development of processes of change to personal and social level.

FACILITIE
S

Liceo Juarez has air-conditioned
classrooms, has projectors, glass
blackboards. We have a library so that
students have access to books that are
useful for homework’s. We have a
cafeteria and a zone for the tables that
we use to eat on the breakfast time.
Liceo Juarez has two sports courts.

We share the experiences of the high school and I believe that all of us will
remember those moments. We remember our first day of classes, when we didn’t
know how to do some things and I’m pretty sure that some of us was nervous for
begin a new stage. But in a few days, all we started to made us company and, in
some way, helping each other to make it easy and having fun.

We remember with happiness when some of our classmates threw a door in an

English class or when they did a lot of jokes that makes all classmates laugh. We

share many activities outside the school, like when we made visits to places in

Carmen. When we went to Shotimilco, or the Botanic Garden. We had a visit to

Bimbo in Villahermosa. We skate on ice in this trip. We celebrate many festivities,

like day of death, we did an altar. Or in September 16th when we

screamed for Mexico´s Independence Day.

We have a lot of memories of this stage of our lives, and I’m sure we can all
remember it in a beautiful way, with a big smile and maybe with sadness because
we have to say goodbye to this stage to begin other with so many changes and
challenges. I hope that all of us have a great future.

Anecdotes

Director’s message

Our headmistress is one of the most important people in our school.
She organizes, leads and checks that everything works correctly
according to the syllabus, but she does more than that! She is a good
leader and teaches us good values.

Headmistress` Message

Dear student´s the experiences lived during these 3 years of high school, I
know there are innumerable memories and I am sure that arriving here today
for many moments was not easy. These years required so much dedication
and today we can see the result of all efforts made.
I trust the knowledge acquired in our school will be helpful for your university
life.
Do not hesitate to communicate for your high school teacher´s when you have
an academic doubt.
I wish you the best of the success and the conclusion with optimal
qualifications in the career you choose.

Coordinator’s message

Our coordinator follows the syllabus definite by the principal. She
helps the principal to support de school and check that all the
teachers do their job. She has interpersonal skills and
communication skills; she is also very friendly.

Message from the coordinator

3 years ago, you arrived for the first time to Liceo Juarez. Some of you have been here for longer but
when you started high school, you became part pf my life. I´m not saying “goodbye”, I´m saying, “see
you soon”. Go out there without fears!

You might be saying goodbye to this school but, as I said before, we will say “see you soon” because
Liceo Juarez will always have its doors open for you.

It has been 3 years of effort, and in occasions, the tasks and projects were arduous, but without a
doubt they were also 3 years of rewards, satisfactions, friendship and wonderful memories that will
remain forever in the book of your lives.

You are a very good example for the students of the other semesters, as well as for those who will
occupy the vacant places and that special space that you leave today to lighten to new horizons.

You have shown so much enthusiasm and dedication while being part of Liceo Juarez.

Your teachers will remember you as honest, responsable, cheerful and committed students. The time
has come to face a present with new challenges. In the turbulence that could exist n each of your
path. Each of you must reaffirm a vision of justice, peace, respect and good attitude.

For now, one thing must be clear to you that it´s that you study and nothing but study, will be the key
that will open the doors of tomorrow. In a changing world like the one they lived; preparation is the
best strategy to face the crisis of an uncertain world.

The future of every one is not in destiny´s hand, and even when you could believe that fate is the one
who mix the cards, it is you who play them and you are the ones who form and forge your destiny.
You and only you are the ones who must ask yourself what you want in your life.

Compromise with your family, with the society, but first compromise with you. Awesome with all
important and courage the responsibility of take the rudder of your life, that the sea is you.

Events

Mexico’s independence war

The most important national holiday is here
and the Liceo Juárez family knows how to
celebrate it. For Mexicans, being Mexican is
an honor and we are always happy to be part
of these celebrations, which remind us of the
days in which our national heroes fought
against the Spaniard conqueror, in 1810.

Every year, most Mexican wear green, white
and red clothes. These three colors represent
our Mexican flag and wearing them give us a

sense of pride

Pozole, tacos, mole, enchiladas, tostadas and
more our foods are the vivid representation of

our Aztecs ancestors’ diet.

Day of death

The day of the dead is one of the most important tradition in
Mexico, where you remind your ancestors and commemorate
them. Making offerings with traditional Mexican food. We put
they favorite food in an altar when the person was alive. Many

people go to cemetery and put flowers and their tomb.
Liceo Juárez organized a represent the day of the dead. All
the high school participated in activities like competition of
traditional dance, make altars, Catrin and Catrina costumes.

Valentine’s day

Each year, a February 14th in Liceo
Juarez, we organize Valentine’s

Day and participate doing dances,
poems and more to express to the

other people our sweetie.

students and they could enjoy and
celebrate this moment with music
