Microteaching E-Portfolio Khairunisya

E-Portfolio

For project 2, our tasks were to do a mock teaching session, and an e-portfolio like the one currently being read. Both of these projects were challenging, but I would say are extremely beneficial and educational. For the mock teaching, we started with the set induction. I chose the chapter "Crime" for Form 5 students. The reason why I chose the chapter is because I think the students will find it interesting, and I had multiple ideas about it. For my set induction, I started by asking them some questions about what crime is, then showed them some pictures of seemingly innocent things, like samosas. Then, they had to match the pictures to the country that bans it. This is then followed by two fun and mentally challenging detective riddles. For the activity, I came up with an interesting idea where the students design their wanted poster based on a template given. I focused on the usage of modal verbs, and I believe it turned out great. PROJECT 2

For the mock teaching, I enjoyed it and it offered me a valid insight on what it's like to be a teacher someday. For the second project, which is the portfolio, I will say that it is a brilliant idea on Madam Nirmala's part. As someone who barely reads notes and studies until the last minute, working on this portfolio was an instant recap moment where I get to understand everuthing I have learnt this semester. It is surprinsgy effective at making me remember. Despite the amount of time and effort spent into making this, it is undoubtedly very effective, useful, and I will most definitely be referring to this portfolio again and again from how beneficial it is. In conclusion, Project 2 was challenging but educational. I sincerely hope my hard work proves it all to be worth it.

Thank You Madam Nirmala
