STEM Activity Builds Teamwork

Students in Mrs. Brown's Science third
grade class have been learning about
teamwork during science! By using a
STEM activity, students are building rela-
tionships while increasing knowledge of
science, technology, engineer-
ing and mathematics.

Learning Place Value and Comparing Numbers

“In the following pictures students are using their knowledge of place value to
order and compare numbers! Students created their own numbers by rolling
dice and then compared them as a group. The greatest number was the win-
ner. The kiddos loved this game!” Sarah Wood, Third Grade Math Teacher

Happy Wingo Smiles….. And Then Some!

Perfect Attendance is the Goal!

Mrs. Tana Jones, Family Resource Coordinator, gives each student a challenge! “How
much do we want your kids to be at school? Beginning in September, we will be giving

ance! And then some….All students with perfect attendance for the year will be entered
into a drawing in May for an iPad Mini!
