Recognition

The Battle Recharge is an event created to promote stage tour racing and to bring tourism
back into the Tweed to help the region recover after the devastating floods. The event is
being run as not-for-profit activity of the NXsports Community Foundation with the
encouragement of Cycling Australia and Destination New South Wales who are funding the
racing.

I understand a number of riders are upset we are not able to offer prize money for your
division, but as far as I am concerned I am offering road racing and a community fund
raiser and absorbing considerable costs personally, so it is not possible to do it all.

As a result, your division will receive prizes and gifts at presentations this year, not cash
prize money. I welcome any further discussion in this regard.
Thank you, Mike 0402 226 333.

Presentations

Presentations will be conducted with other grades and divisions as per the published event
program.

It is expected that all persons standing on the podium will be in suitable cycling attire,
preferably in team colours, with shoes on as required for Broadcast and TV.
