In the jungle, once lived a
peacock. The peacock was
very proud because it was
beautiful.

"I am the most beautiful
bird in this jungle," said the
peacock.

The peacock was so vain. The
peacock did not like to make
friends with the other birds.

One day, there came a
hunter who set traps in the
jungle. The peacock got
caught in one of the traps.

"Help! Help!" the
peacock shouted for
help.

"Forgive me! I am
not able to help you,"
the mynah told the
peacock.

"You are caught by the
humans because you are
very beautiful. Humans
want to rear you," said the
crow.

The peacock was
ashamed and regretted.
Nevertheless, it is of no
use anymore.

MORAL VALUE

Do not feel proud of
what we have. The
showing off attitude will
only bring disaster.
