Beologic compounds enable you to manufacture a whole range of objects free of ‘traditional’ plastics but still
presenting the unique mechanical characteristics of plastics: elasticity, processing readiness, impact, tensile
strength, Melt Flow Index…
Our compounds are fit for a variety of processing methods such as extrusion, co-extrusion, injection, rotomoul-
ding and 3D printing.

At Beologic, we not only design new compounds, we make them in our factory. The interaction of R&D and
field practice enables us to develop ever more sustainable compounds while realising our mission to work for a
greener world. So far, plastics are inevitable. But we are determined to bring about a substantial improvement,

The beobase family of compounds offers a total solution for
a new generation of bio-based materials with a matching
look and feel.
beobase compounds are obtained by adding bio-based
fibres to a fossil polymer or by replacing fossil-based
polymers by bio-based ones.

The beograde family of compounds includes mainly blends
of fossil and bio-based biodegradable polymers.
We increasingly replace the plastic substrate by a
biodegradable alternative. Adding wood creates a look and a
feel that emphasizes the biodegradable characteristics.

The beocycle family includes compounds based on recycled
material. In this range we gradually replace prime and vir-
gin feedstock by recycled material, along with recyclable,
non-virgin fillers.

Obviously we cannot do entirely without plastics. Indeed, in some cases the use of plastics does make sense. Therefore
we foster the use of recyclable feedstock aiming at a cradle-to-cradle solution where a product at the end of its lifecycle
constitutes the raw material for a new product.
Recycling is rapidly gaining importance. Bottles, toys, caps, industrial waste, even furniture and other plastic objects are
milled and reused. In parallel, the use of virgin materials is on the decline. The future is mass recycling!

beosmart compounds still contain fossil-based feedstock,
yet they present features that make them more sustainable,
e.g. by reducing the weight or by using eco-friendly additives.

Some examples

lighter but, above all, it requires less material for an

equivalent volume.
In some cases, beosmart compounds

can perfectly replace heavy metals, or provide a
solution when an electrically conductive polymer

is required.
