During 2017 and early 2018 the Fire Department was successful in

deploying a community-based healthcare pilot program that was based

on navigating community members to appropriate healthcare resources.

This year, we will be bringing on a Community Health Paramedic full-

time to continue those efforts. Providing in-home visits, delivering health

and nutrition education, health screenings and providing community

education will be a few of the services provided by this innovative

program. The H.A.P.P.Y. (Healthcare Alliance of Providers and Partners

for You) health screenings (which includes members from the CRRC,

Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Hill-Country MHDD and the Fire

Department) will be relocated to the CRRC after the new building is

completed, which will allow for better access to other on-site resources as

well utilization of a dedicated exam room. We are proud to work in

concert with CRRC and all of our other community partners to provide

these services. Collaborative, cooperative efforts are key to providing

Canyon Lake with a quality healthcare system.

We are excited for what 2019 brings and we are happy to provide the

best possible Fire and EMS service to the guests and residents of the

Canyon Lake community.

"This is the Bergdorf Goodman of thrift stores,” was
overheard recently when she was introducing a friend
coming in to CRRC Thrift for the first time. It's
true. Unlike similar shops, unexpected quality
merchandise and neat surprises can be found in nearly
every department.

In addition to racks of inexpensively priced clothing, a
boutique carousel is available which offers a myriad of
apparel choices for special occasions. One might find
the perfect outfit for a wedding, a reunion, an anniversary, Fiesta, or the
Stock Show. Prestige labels that find themselves on the boutique rack include
Liz Claiborne, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Vera Wang.
