1.0 Introduction
Mandarin is one of the largest languages ​used by people in the
world. In Malaysia, the use of mandarin is becoming more
widespread when there are many Chinese people in Malaysia.
Mandarin can be categorized as the third language after English
in Malaysia. In this pandemic era, online learning methods are a
new alternative practiced by the whole world. Online teaching
and learning must have a clear and interesting ability to convey
the learning content to attract students' interest to continue
learning. A method that can be used to help learning Mandarin
become easier and more interesting is to produce an e-magazine.
An e-magazine is a magazine published online using a computer
or smartphone. E-magazines were created to stimulate the
thinking of users to continue reading wherever they are.

2.0 Acknowledgement
Thank you to all the group members for their cooperation, we
were able to prepare an e-magazine despite the challenges and
difficulties that had to be faced. On this occasion, we would
like to express our deepest gratitude to Mrs Chong Oi Leng as
our lecturer in the basic Mandarin subject for her guidance and
instruction throughout the period of completing this
assignment. Lastly, hopefully this e-magazine can be used as a
useful knowledge base for anyone who wants to learn basic
Mandarin easily.

1) States variety of vocabulary in mandarin along with their
translations.
2) List examples of sentences in mandarin that can be used in
everyday life.
3) Create an e-magazine that can help new students easily
learn Mandarin

我要买铅笔。Saya sedang membeli sebatang pensil.

2. I'm buying a pencil at a bookshop.

我在书店买铅笔。Saya sedang membeli sebatang pensil di sebuah kedai buku.

Wǒ zài shūdiǎn mǎi qiānbǐ.

3. I lost my pencil sharpener.

我的卷笔刀丢了。Saya hilang pengasah pensil .

5.0 Summary
In conclusion, everyone can learn vocabulary through this
e-magazine. Vocabulary in Mandarin can help to improve
comprehension in reading. Through this e-magazine, they can
also learn sentences and dialogues in Mandarin that are often
used when communicating. In this way, it can make it easier for
someone who wants to communicate with others in Mandarin.
Lastly, through this e-magazine it can also lighten the burden of
someone who is interested in learning the basics of the
Mandarin language because it has been summarized and
collected in one e-magazine where the content includes verses
and vocabulary that are often used by the community in daily
life .
