There will be three activities that concentrate primarily on educating the general
public about the hearing impaired. In addition, there are several activities
designed expressly for hearing impaired people.

5.1 HEARING IMPAIRED AWARENESS TALK

A professional speaker will lead this activity, and there will be additional sign
language interpreters present for the hearing impaired people.

Activity Objectives:

To expose the audience about hearing loss or deafness in order to raise
awareness.
To encourage social inclusion and offer some advice on how to interact with
persons who have hearing loss more effectively.

Activity Details:
