About I Do Wedding Catering
I set up I Do Wedding Catering about seven years ago, when I started breeding my own pigs and doing hog roasts. Soon, I was asked to cater a
wedding, and the business has grown rapidly ever since, with my partner, Kate, joining me in 2013. We love to help our clients with their wed-
ding plans. We believe the food and service forms an important part of the big day, and we always take care to get it right.
Our approach is to make honest, home-made food with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients wherever possible; food that is tasty and
memorable. It’s a real family business with our two sons working with us when they can. We also employ carefully chosen, experienced and
friendly staff because we know how important these things are. Keeping the service personal, and providing the best we can for your big day,
is what really matters to us. I still do the cooking too. Not so many hog roasts now though...
Over the years we have catered in some amazing venues. In fields and gardens, by lakes, in barns, and even half-way up a mountain in the mid-
dle of winter, we have always delivered a delicious menu, tailored to your requirements. We both get a real kick out of being part of our cli-
ents’ special day.

Our Bronze menu is a fixed price menu for couples on a restricted budget. But a limited budget doesn’t mean impacting on the quality of the
food. By restricting the choices you can have, and the way the service is provided, we can keep our costs down and still give you a memorable,
tasty menu.
The costs for 2016/17 are as follows (inclusive of VAT):
Canapés £4 per head
Three course wedding breakfast £35 per head
Two course wedding breakfast £33 per head
Evenings Snacks £3.50 per head

Presentation & Service
We recognise that the way in which the catering is presented is just as important as the flavour of the food. Every care is taken to ensure that our staff are polite, courte-
ous and professional. Every wedding we do is different, and it is our attention to detail that will give each client what they want.
Linen, Cutlery & Crockery Hire
We provide white linen as standard, sourced from professional laundries (one round or oblong per 8-10 guests plus napkins, plus 2 extra costs for display tables. Extra
cloths at £7.50 each). We provide stainless steel beaded cutlery and porcelain whiteware crockery as standard.
Laying the Tables
Most brides wish to lay their own tables, and we will always drop off the linen, cutlery and crockery a few days before the wedding so this is possible. If you wish us to lay
the tables for you, we will do this for an extra cost (£150 + VAT) and will require your table plans a week before the big day.
Bar & Glassware
We find that many venues provide their own glassware with bar services. However, we are fully licensed and can offer a full bar & glass hire service, including water jugs,
at extra cost.
Serving the Food & Timing
The way the food is served to your guests often depends on the venue, and the menu, as well as the programme for the day. We discuss this with you as part of the plan-
ning process. Some clients prefer a buffet service, some require individual plated food served to the table, and others anything in between. We work with you to ensure
our service delivers the right atmosphere for your day. Regarding timing, the Bronze menu allows a maximum of 2 hours for reception, the main meal no longer than 2
hours, and speeches must be after the meal. If times go beyond this, we reserve the right to add a discretionary charge to cover additional staff time @ £100 + VAT per half
hour.
Serving Your Drinks
The Service of your Reception Drinks is included in the price of your catering, if we are providing canapés. We will also serve your wine at the table. We reserve the right to
charge £5 per bottle opened for wine sealed with corks (not applicable to sparkling wines).
Younger Guests
It is always helpful to know in advance how many children will be at the event, and their ages. Generally we do not charge for guests under 5 years old. A discounted price
is charged for children between 5 and 12.
Special Diets and Food Allergies
As long as we know in advance we can cater for all dietary requirements.
