What our clients say about us
“Thank you for everything you all did to help our wedding day run so smoothly. We had a wonderful time in amongst the fells we love, surrounded by all of our family
and friends. Everyone commented on what a lovely team you had. Glasses were always full and the food was just perfect for a beautiful summers day. Heartfelt thanks”
R & J July 2015
“Hi Steve, Thank you so much for providing a fantastic catering service for our wedding! As soon as we met Steve we knew he would be a great wedding caterer - he's so
passionate about food, and had loads of menu ideas to cater not only for our tastes but also all of our guests. Both Steve and Kate were fantastic to work with through the
whole process. On the day itself, I'm still amazed by the quality of the food they managed to provide for that many people - especially given it was from a catering tent in a
field attached to a tipi! We had tonnes of comments about the quality of the food, and one thing we were sure of is that our guests were well fed. Kate and all of the serv-
ing staff organised the day brilliantly and ensured it was stress-free for us and we were able to completely enjoy the day. Thanks for helping make our day so wonderful!”
D & M June 2015
“Thank you so much for such a wonderful job of catering at our wedding. We have had so many compliments about the food and service, we couldn’t have asked for
more. “ B & P October 2015
“ After all the dust has settled and normal lives have resumed, we just wanted to send a note to express our immense gratitude to you and your staff.
From the moment we first contacted you and looked through your menu, we felt a real sense of excitement about the prospect of you cooking on our special day. Your
hospitality in inviting us to your house and flexibility in working around our time off was really appreciated. The food you prepared for us that day definitely whetted our
appetites. The fact that the food was both ethically and locally sourced added to ‘specialness’.
We genuinely did have the best wedding day we could have possibly hoped for. Its success was most certainly down to the extraordinary effort and enthusiasm of every-
body associated with providing services on the day. However the professionalism and friendliness of your staff combined with the exceptional quality of your food really
did crown off the day! All of our guests, without exception, praised the food and catering staff.
The smaller details such as the efficiency at which your staff served and cleared the tables was excellent and their attention to keep all the guests glasses topped up was
superb. The balance of food was perfect throughout the day. After burning some calories on the dance floor the evening buffet was greatly appreciated.
I remember seeing you Steve towards the end of the night serving the Chicken Parmos and lamb kofta, looking utterly exhausted and thinking to myself what an extraordi-
nary effort you had put in that day. So from both L and I thank you so so much Steve for making our day extra special. You really do have a very special business and de-
serve all the accolades you receive.” B & L August 2015

About I Do Wedding Catering
I set up I Do Wedding Catering about seven years ago, when I started breeding my own pigs and doing hog roasts. Soon, I was asked to cater a wedding,
and the business has grown rapidly ever since, with my partner, Kate, joining me in 2013. We love to help our clients with their wedding plans. We believe
the food and service forms an important part of the big day, and we always take care to get it right.
Our approach is to make honest, home-made food with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients wherever possible; food that is tasty and memorable.
It’s a real family business with our two sons working with us when they can. We also employ carefully chosen, experienced and friendly staff because we
know how important these things are. Keeping the service personal, and providing the best we can for your big day, is what really matters to us. I still do
the cooking too. Not so many hog roasts now though...
Over the years we have catered in some amazing venues. In fields and gardens, by lakes, in barns, and even half-way up a mountain in the middle of winter,
we have always delivered a delicious menu, tailored to your requirements. We both get a real kick out of being part of our clients’ special day.
About the Gold Menu Guide Steve Manders & Kate Midgley, January 2016

VAT):
Canapés: from £4.75 per head (up to 6 types)
Three Course Wedding Breakfast: from £40.00 per head
Two Course Wedding Breakfast: from £38.00 per head
Evenings Snacks: from £ 3.50 per head
How to use this Menu Guide
First of all, please use this menu as a guide only. It is not a definitive list of the dishes we can provide. If you have any favourite flavours or dishes with a
special meaning, we will always try to find ways of incorporating them. Trends in wedding and event catering are constantly evolving, and we are always
eager to hear your ideas too.
Please feel free to mix and match the suggestions here. We’ve grouped the dishes into world-flavours, as clients often tell us they love different foods from
their travels. There are lots of ways we could have categorised the guide, but this one seemed to make sense to us. We hope it does to you too! Each sec-
tion is grouped into Best of British, Mediterranean, and Asian. It’s not a strict definition though, so please be sure to look at all the suggestions...

And Finally...
Presentation & Service
We recognise that the way in which the catering is presented is just as important as the flavour of the food. Every care is taken to ensure that our staff are polite, courte-
ous and professional. Every wedding we do is different, and it is our attention to detail that will give each client what they want.
Linen, Cutlery & Crockery Hire
We provide white linen as standard, sourced from professional laundries. If you require a different colour we can also source this at extra cost. We provide stainless steel
beaded cutlery and porcelain whiteware crockery as standard. Vintage crockery is available to hire at extra cost, and the company we use can also decorate your venue
with a vintage theme. If you have any specific requirements we can discuss these with you.
Laying the Tables
Most brides wish to lay their own tables, and we will always drop off the linen, cutlery and crockery a few days before the wedding so this is possible. If you wish us to lay
the tables for you, we will do this for an extra cost, and will require your table plans a week before the big day.
Bar & Glassware
We find that many venues provide their own glassware with bar services. However, we are fully licensed and can offer a full bar & glass hire service, including water jugs,
at extra cost. We don’t charge corkage but request you use screw-top wine bottles if providing your own wine. We reserve the right to charge extra if wine bottles with
corks are provided, as this takes staff significantly longer to set up. (Sparkling wines are not included).
Serving the Food
The way the food is served to your guests often depends on the venue, and the menu, as well as the programme for the day. We discuss this with you as part of the plan-
ning process. Some clients prefer a buffet service, some require individual plated food served to the table, and others anything in between. We work with you to ensure
our service delivers the right atmosphere for your day.
Serving Your Drinks
The Service of your Reception Drinks is included in the price of your catering, if we are providing canapés. We will also serve your wine at the table.
Younger Guests
It is always helpful to know in advance how many children will be at the event, and their ages. Generally we do not charge for guests under 5 years old. A discounted price
is charged for children between 5 and 12.
Special Diets and Food Allergies
As long as we know if advance we can cater for all dietary requirements.
