Personal Electronics

• No personal electronics!!

• Cell phones are not to be used as

calculators
• During class at all times, all personal

electronic devices should be turned off
and in your back-pack or pocket.
• No earbuds/headphones

Teacher Directed Instruction

• C = No talking – Voice level 0
• H = Raise hand – wait to be

recognized
• A = Teacher directed instruction
• M = Do not get out of seat
• P = Listening to teacher – taking

notes

Independent Work

• C = No talking – Voice level 0
• H = Raise hand – wait to be recognized
• A = Reading or other task as assigned

by teacher
• M = Do not get out of seat
• P = Working silently and independently

Small Group/Partner/Lab Work

• C = Talk quietly with anyone in YOUR group
(voice level 1)

• H = Ask any student in YOUR group – raise
hand if no one in group can help

• A = Small group instruction
• M = While out of seat do not talk to other

students
• P = Listen, answer, ask questions and/or

share with your group

Required Supplies

• 3 subject notebook (8½ X 11)
• Pencil

OR
• Pen (blue or black ink for assignments; other colors okay

for notebook)
• 2 pocket with prongs folder

Homework

• Starting 2nd or 3rd week – weekly homework
assignment

• Vocabulary quiz every Friday

Entering Classroom

• First - Complete the BELL RINGER

• Second – Write down the AGENDA
and HOMEWORK into your planner.

• Remember - Class begins when you
walk through the door.

Planners

• Are your pass
• Label the last 4 pages: 1st qtr, 2nd qtr, 3rd

qtr, 4th qtr
• Name on front cover in sharpie
• Staple schedule to inside front cover
• Write the objective in daily
• Replacement cost is $6
• Planners should remain out all period
