Bloom’s level: Application
How do you apply the concept of linear perspective to
drawing a 1pt perspective space?
Post-assessment: Final drawing critique
For each project critique students will be expected to use art vocabulary related the topic when discussing each other's artwork. These discussions will be lead by the instructor who will prompt students and guide the conversation when necessary. Lesson Objective: 1pt Perspective Drawing and Group Critique
Students will learn how to depict a space of their choosing in 1pt Perspective using Modulated Contour Line. Students will then display their projects in the classroom and participate in a group critique led by the instructor.
Possible Questions:
1) Which Principles of Design can you identify in you classmates work? Application 2) Is the student's drawing an effective depiction of a 1pt Perspective space? Why or why not? Evaluation
3) What suggestions would you give to your classmate to improve the
drawing? Synthesis
4) Did the student effectively use Modulated Contour Line to give the sense of a convincing 3-Dimensional space? Why or Why not? Analysis
