Circus Train

Circus Train

CIRCUS TRAIN
Imagine this: a bunch of animals flies past
you at sixty miles per hour. What do you
see? Some lions, ferocious tigers,
elephants, and mischievous monkeys. It
must be a circus train! It was a locomotive,
another word for a train transporting circus
animals from one place to another.
It was difficult to move the circus animal
earlier. They had to drag around all their
animals, performers, and tools. Since there
were no proper roads, these journeys were
unsafe and took a long time. Circuses
would stop at many small towns between
the large venues.

Illustration Left

It was not profitable to perform in these
small towns but due to the long journey
until the last destination, it made sense to
spend some time in these towns. After
they began using circus trains, all circus
companies only brought their show to
large cities.
These performances were much more
grander and the profits were high which
went towards creating an even more
magnificent circus. Hence, we can
conclude that circus trains changed the
face of the circus industry and made it
very profitable for circus businesses.
