Handling

• We recommend the use of garden gloves during
product mixing & application

• Store all products in a safe, dry place out of the
reach of children & pets

How to Measure the Products

• Universal – Use the 1 oz Universal bottle cap
• Active 10-3-10, Active 2-20-2 & Active 13-2-2

– A measuring scoop is included

Coverage

• Each recommended application covers 100 sq ft.
• For treating larger or smaller areas, adjust

product application rate in proportion to the
volume of water needed
• Applications should be directed to the soil, but
contact with the plant foliage will not harm the plant

Garden Pump Sprayer

• Mix & apply the recommended amount of product in 1 gallon water
• Following application, apply additional water as needed to penetrate

the upper 2-3” of soil in the treated area
• Rinse the pump sprayer & tank line after each use

Watering Can

• Mix & apply the recommended amount of product in 2 gallons
water

• Apply additional water only if the upper 2-3” of soil is not
moist from the application

• Rinse the watering can after use

Houseplants
• Prepare mixture of 1 oz. Universal & 1 oz. Active 10-3-10
• Apply to plant container every 2 months between Mar. & Sept.

Annual & Perennial Flowers
• Prepare mixture of 1 oz. Universal & 1 oz. Active 10-3-10
• Apply to garden soil or flower pot every 1-2 weeks throughout growing season

Roses
• Apply 1 oz. of Active 10-3-10 after 4-6” of new growth in spring
• Make additional applications every 30 days through July
• Do not apply within 8 weeks of a potential frost

Deciduous Trees and Shrubs

• Prepare mixture of Active 10-3-10 & Active 2-20-2, using 1 scoop of each
for every 3 ft. of tree height, 3 scoops max

• Apply under tree or shrub canopy in early spring (Mar.), mid-summer
(June), & fall (Oct.)

Evergreen Trees

• Prepare mixture of Active 10-3-10 & Active 2-20-2, using 1
scoop of each for every 3 ft. of tree height, 3 scoops max

• Apply under tree or shrub canopy in early spring (Mar.) & early
summer (June).

Cool-Season Grass (Blue, Rye, Fescue, etc.)

• Use 1 scoop of each product with pump sprayer
• Prepare a mixture of Active 2-20-2 & Active 13-2-2, &

apply in early spring (Mar.-Apr.) as lawn begins green-up
• Apply Active 13-2-2 in late spring (May)
• Apply Active 2-20-2 in early fall (Sept.)

Warm-Season Grass (Bermuda, St. Augustine, Zoysia, etc.)

• Use 1 scoop of each product with pump sprayer
• Prepare a mixture of Active 13-2-2 & Active 2-20-2, &

apply in late spring (May) as lawn begins green-up
• Apply the same mixture in mid-summer (July)

& late summer (Aug.)

Fruit & Palm Trees

• Prepare mixture of Active 10-3-10 & Active 2-20-2, using 1 scoop
of each for every 3 ft. of tree height, 3 scoops max

• Apply under tree or shrub canopy in late Winter (Feb.), late spring
(May), & early fall (Sept.)

Asparagus (Established)

Use 1 capful or scoop of each product as follows during season

Universal + Active 10-3-10 Apply mixture prior to spear emergence in early spring

Universal + Active 13-2-2 Apply mixture after spears are 2-3” tall

Universal + Active 13-2-2 Apply mixture just prior to first harvest

Active 2-20-2 + Active 10-3-10 Apply mixture several weeks after harvest is complete
Average Harvest Period - 25-45 Days After Spear Emergence

Beans & Peas

Use 1 capful or scoop of each product as follows during season

Universal + Active 10-3-10 Apply mixture 1-2 weeks prior to planting

Active 13-2-2 Apply when plants are 4-6” tall

Universal + Active 2-20-2 Apply mixture when plants are approx. 18” tall

Active 10-3-10 Apply when plants are approx. 30” tall

Broccoli, Cauliflower & Cabbage

Use 1 capful or scoop of each product as follows during season
