2016 season recap
The inaugural football season at Challenger Columbia Stadium was an exciting one for CCISD’s ve high school football programs: Two CCISD teams advanced to the playoffs - Clear Springs and Clear Brook - and Clear Brook High School made it to the Regional Playoff game.
The high-performing Clear Springs team may have been senior-loaded but all of their sub-varsity teams also performed exceptionally well, each going undefeated in district and winning the district title. Clear Brook’s talent lies in the hands of many juniors and CCISD looks to see them advance even farther next year. Unfortunately, Clear Lake’s record does not tell the whole story of just how close some of this developing team’s games were. Clear Lake is bring- ing back many of their notable athletes and are expected to be a force to reckon with in 2017 and beyond. Clear Creek did not fair in district as expected this year due to several sophomores and freshmen having to ll in for key injured players. Clear Creek will be back in the hunt next year. Clear Falls is also a senior loaded team and not only had their rst win in 19 games but also won their very rst overtime game against Houston ISD’s Bellaire Cardinals. Clear Falls will have their work cut out for them for the 2017-2018 seasons in continuing to rebuild the football program.

CLEAR BROOK HIGH SCHOOL WOLVERINES
Head Coach Mike Allison: Second year as a head coach
Varsity record: 4-3 through District play; 8-5 Overall; 4th place in District 24 6A and UIL Region 3 Division II Bi-District Playoff Champion, Area Playoff Champion, Regional Playoff Quali er; According to the Harris Ratings, began the year at 177th in all of 6A and nished at 89th in all of 6A
CLEAR CREEK HIGH SCHOOL WILDCATS
Head Coach Darrell Warden: Twelfth year as a head coach (Has advanced to the UIL Playoffs 9 of 12 seasons) 76-55 as the Head Coach
Varsity record: 2-5 through District play; 5-5 Overall; According to the Harris Ratings, began the year at 58th in all of 6A and nished at 91st in all of 6A
CLEAR FALLS HIGH SCHOOL KNIGHTS
Head Coach Zachary Head: First year as a head coach
Varsity record: 0-7 through District play; 2-8 Overall; According to the Harris Ratings, began the year at 214th in all of 6A and nished at 187th in all of 6A
CLEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL FALCONS
Head Coach Larry McRae: First year as a head coach
Varsity record: 2-5 through District play; 3-7 Overall; According to the Harris Ratings, began the year at 200th in all of 6A and nished at 157th in all of 6A
CLEAR SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL CHARGERS
Head Coach Craig Dailey: First year as a head coach and named 24 6A Head Coach of the Year
Varsity record: 7-0 through District play; 9-2 Overall; 24 6A District Champions and UIL Region 3 Division I Bi-District Playoff Quali er; According to the Harris Ratings- Began the year at 71st in all of 6A and nished at 21st in all of 6A
