With the annual commemoration of all the faithful
departed and the day of the dead, November is
known as a month of prayer and remembrance for
the souls of those who have died. Fantasy and surreal
photography are sub-genres of spooky photography.
The eerie photography version seeks to create tense
settings. As a result, the children were urged to
engage, not to instill fear or display wickedness, but
rather to demonstrate ingenuity.

The poster and slogan competition is a friendly
competition among students in which they design
posters and slogans that convey their ideas, analysis,
and reactions to a certain topic as selected by the
college contest organizers. One of the activities of the
CBAPA Clash of Talents, with the theme, “PANDEMIC:
New Normal”. This activity highlighted the ingenuity and
talent of CBAPA's many artists.

In today’s world, life is indeed filled with uncertainty, especially at times like
this. While many things continue to exist outside our control, our mindset is the
key in dealing effectively with difficult circumstances and facing the unknown.
Giving attention to the poster, we can depict at the lower portion that the half
of the world is in critical stage, wherein we cannot control the spread of the
virus that affects the lives of many people. The circle in the middle states our
current situation in this trying times. And the upper portion tells about what
must be done for a brighter future.
The current COVID-19 pandemic has heightened uncertainty over the
economy, employment, finances, relationships, and of course, physical and
mental health. Yet as human beings, we feel a powerful desire for tranquility
and security. We want to feel protected or not exposed to danger or risk and
have a sense of control over our lives and well-being. Fear and uncertainty can
leave us feeling stressed, anxious, and powerless over the direction of our lives.
It can drain us emotionally and trap us in a downward spiral of endless “what-
ifs” and worst-case backdrop about what tomorrow may bring.
One of the infallible ways to avoid worrying about the future is to focus on the
present. Instead of trying to foresee what might happen, switch our attention
to what’s happening right now. By being fully connected to the present, we can
break the continuity of the negative assumptions and catastrophic predictions
running through our minds.

Marami ng buhay ang nawala at nasira ngunit nanatiling matatag ang bawat
pilipino upang malagpasan ang nasasabing pandemia. Ito ay isang pagsubok sa
bawat pilipino at dito makikita ang pagkakaisa at pakikisama dahil ito ang
importante at mahalaga sa bawat pusong pilipino na nagkakaisa. Ang
pagsunod sa mga palutuntunin ay mahalaga upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng
virus lumalaki ang bilang ng naapektuhan pero alam ng bawat pilipino na ang
Diyos ang magpapagaling sa mundo hayaan mong pagalingin ng Panginoon
ang ating lupa sapagkat tayong mga Pilipino ay malakas at matapang para
malagpasan ito.
Ang panginoon ang nagsisilbing sandata ng bawat pilipino sa bawat puso ng
pilipino panginoon pagalingin mo ang mundo ito ang binibigay at sinisigaw ng
aking puso. Hindi hadlang ang pandemia upang tayo ay matuto namulat ang
bawat mag aaral sa bagong pagsubok sa kanilang buhay kung pano sila mag
aaral sa panahon ng pandemia ngunit Hindi sumuko ang ating mga guro na
gumawa ng paraan upang bawat pilipino ay matuto marami man sa atin ang
kapos sa internet at iba pa ngunit Hindi ito hadlang sa mga mag-aaral upang
makapag tapos at matuto. Isa ding saludo sa ating mga frontliners dahil sa
kanilang dedikasyon at puso upang tumulong sa mga kapwa pilipino. Sila ang
isang masasabing super hero dahil sa panahon ngayon sila ang nagsisilbing
harang upang maiwasan ang pagdamia na ating nararanasan.

Mga gurong di sumusuko sa pagtuturo sa mamamayang pilipino, mga doctor
na nagpapagaling sa mga natamaan ng virus at mga nurse na siyang
katulungan ng doctor upang malutasan ang paglaki ng natatamaan ng virus.
Mga Pulis na siyang nagbabantay saan mang lupalok ng pilipinas upang
mabantayan ang bawat pilipino. Mga reporter na siyang nagbibigay ng
impormasyon kung anong nangyari sa mundo isa sila sa mga frontliners na
gumagabay sa bawat pilipino. Ito lamang ay isang pagsubok na malalagpasan
ng pilipino sapagkat bawat pilipino ay may puso upang magtulungan at
magmahalan sa panahon ng pandemia.

The poster depicts the new normal set-up brought by the pandemic. Covid-19
is a serious disease that has spread throughout the country, for which there is
no cure yet. This virus is very difficult because wherever you go there is a case
like this and this virus has ruined the lives of many because others have lost
their jobs, students are having difficulties with the new normal setup.
Parties, fiestas and other mass gatherings are prohibited. Even large malls and
other establishments have been closed because it is in accordance with the
law. As a youth, let us be mature and responsible for everything we plan to do.
We should always be clean and neat, wearing face mask and face shield and of
course practice social distancing because these following ways can prevent us
against the virus. Prayer is also one of the most effective way to keep our well-
being strong in these times of pandemic.

For the year 2020, the whole world faces the hardest battle. Covid19
announced as a Pandemic restricting us with the things that we use to do. We
got force to face the New Normal that is an effect of the pandemic. A new
normal that has advantage and disadvantage.
As what the poster depicts, there is a virus where soon we will definitely defeat
through the help of all our modern heroes, through our cooperation and being
a responsible individual but most especially we will win this battle through are
continuously and never-ending faith to our Almighty God. As we continue this
battle, we face the new normal that became way for us to get close to God and
to our family. Many families got their chanced to redeem all their lost time.
Aside from that, because of this new normal restricting us to socialize and to
be with the outside world, our mother earth got her healing.
Our community, town, city and the whole world got the chance to get clean
and to be free from human abusement. The disadvantage of this new normal,
many students suffer from school, from house chores, and other works that we
need to balance if we want to attain our dreams. But with all the pressure that
killing us, our beloved teachers and many professionals suffers as well. They
got stressed and like what students feel, they even feel the same. Another
disadvantage is our healthcare where protocol is on top instead if life. And
lastly, as this year comes to an end, the unequal society will kill us first instead
of the virus.

THE DAWN OF MELIORATION
Many of us are weakened and disheartened by the crisis we are facing right
now which is the pandemic. Notwithstanding the adversary we have never
seen but its visible effects in the health of many people, we find hope in our
intrepid frontliners who continuously fight to save lives. They became the
armor of God to protect and heal every nation that is suffering from this
Covid19 virus. These people who became the barriers to secure the earth and
have the daunting task to succor every citizen who are infected by covid19 are
empowered by our impeccable and Almighty God.
They are sacrificing their whole life and health to ameliorate our situation. May
we give appreciation to our heroes by participating and obeying the rules and
regulations settled by the government. Let us not be a hard headed people
because the efforts that our frontliners exerted in this situation may possibly
put at naught if we continue to be a refractory. Let us not be the hindrance to
impede the development of our situation but rather be one of the exemplars to
other people in this pandemic. Simply wearing our facemask or faceshield
while we’re on the outside, it is kind of a big help to amend this dilemma. Our
Almighty God always encourages us to be a pillar of light and righteousness.
Moreover, my poster also gives advice to us that we must be tough and brave
as we survive this pandemic. We should always choose to fight this virulent
virus than to frighten and do nothing

aesthetic characteristics. Young generations are full
of new experiences and discoveries, and as a result,
they miss out on important elements of life. Several
difficulties may arise unexpectedly, including social,
mental, spiritual, emotional, and environmental
concerns. Students from diverse groups were asked
