NEW CBAPA-SBO LOGO
The eight yellow and royal blue abstract elements represent the
eight college-based organizations: Junior Management
Accountants Society (JMAS), Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants (JPIA), Junior Marketing Association (JMA), Gawad
Kalinga Youth Organization (GKYO), Hospitality and Tourism
Students Society (HATSS), Human Resource Students Society
(HRSS), Public Administrators Society (PAS), and Young
Entrepreneurs Society (YES). Symbolically, the framing circle
becomes borderless to create the impression of a whirling cycle
that denotes ongoing dynamism.

CBAPA VIRTUAL ORIENTATION
Since the pandemic, online college-based orientation has been
the best way to welcome and orient students—particularly
freshmen— regarding the college and university policies,
introduce to them the faculty and staff of CBAPA, and present
the different student-run organizations accredited by the
university under the college.

BIBLE STUDY:
THE HOPEFlix SERIES
The HOPEFlix Series is an online Bible study that promotes hope,
especially in these trying times. In addition to the academic
workloads that students must meet, they also have additional
duties outside of school and must cope with issues in their
personal life.
The first session was held on October 20,
2021, and CBAPA students participated
through Google Meet. On October 29, 2021,
the last session was released as a recorded
video on the CBAPA-SBO Facebook page.

PRAYER PANTRY MOVEMENT
The Prayer Pantry Movement is a platform where students may
publish their prayer requests, generally in written form. In
response, a surrounding community of believers will pray for the
requests posted on the website and the CBAPA SBO ISU-E
Facebook page. They offer their prayer requests using Google or
other survey tools.
The activity, however, was relaunched as iHope on February 01,
2022, to collect iHope letters, hope stories, and words of
encouragement. The organization believes in expressing life over
our ambitions and optimistic expectations, meaning that
eLivnekrsy:thing is possible when we choose hope.

PAGLANTAW:
Environmental
Awareness Webinar
Environmental awareness is all about understanding the fragility of
our environment and the significance of protecting it. Promoting
environmental awareness is a simple approach to becoming an
environmental steward and helps shape a better future for the next
generation.
By Republic Act No. 9512, passed on December 12, 2008, November
is designated Environmental Awareness Month. According to the law,
environmental education will be used to raise public awareness
about the significance of natural resources in economic growth and
the need for environmental protection.
ISU-E CBAPA-SBO A.Y. 2021-22
Everyone has an obligation to safeguard the environment, but
students are in a unique position to do so since they represent our
planet's future. Students who learn to appreciate and care for our
world will have a healthier and more sustainable future.
Hope and enthusiasm are critical in propelling the environmental
preservation movement forward. Although people of all ages
participate in eco-activism (the cause is important to people of all
ages), there's no denying that students and young people are a big
part of the buzz that surrounds environmental protection
campaigns.
This event was held specifically to inspire everyone to care about
the issues that our environment is experiencing today and to take
action to help rescue the planet. We believe that we are all related
to nature and that we must conserve and preserve not just the flora
and fauna, but also the people and the community. This event was
crucial since not everyone feels motivated to fight for the
environment.

HALLOWEEK PARTY
The month of November is known for Thanksgiving and Veterans
Day. However, most of us are familiar with the month of Halloween.
As part of its goal of keeping students engaged and involved even
amid the pandemic, the CBAPA-Student Body Organization held the
CBAPA Spooktacular Halloweek Party on November 8 to 10, 2021.
Specifically, the event aimed to:
Promote students participation;
Encourage students to confidently display their talents and
creativity; and
Foster relationships and interaction within the CBAPA online
community.

2022 CBAPA YEAR-END
COFFEE NIGHT
Filipinos have shifted from being moderate to heavy coffee
drinkers, according to a study by Kantar World panel Philippines.
The study, released on October 19, showed coffee sales growing to
10% in June 2015, from 4% in June 2014, outpacing the total
beverage segment growth at 5%. Heavy drinkers buy coffee
products thrice a week, or 126 times a year, and spend R28 per
shopping trip. Regular coffee drinkers buy twice a week, or 81 times
a year, and spend R22 per shopping, the study said. With the cold
weather, conducting an event like this is relevant and also the best
time to have fun, reflect, and relax.

PRESS ON: TRAVEL MAP 2022
Forgetting the past is one of the cornerstones to moving ahead into
the future we want, desire, and hope for. We don't mean ‘forget’ in
the sense that we already have no cognitive remembrance. That’s
nearly impossible. However, there is value in reflecting on the past to
grow and learn from it. Failure, mistakes, bad decisions, pride, pain,
suffering, and desertion are all components created by God to build
a person's character and shape them into beings of purpose,
strength, hope, and testimony.
With the arrival of a new season, everyone should be reminded of
their life's purpose. This season brings a new opportunity to
reconsider what truly matters and the importance of learning and
forgetting the past. As a traveler, you can't go to your destination if
you're staring in the rearview mirror of the past.

THINK BIG, START SMALL
Every student can become a leader in some aspect of their life
provided they are given the necessary support and
encouragement. The characteristics, beliefs, and talents instilled in
them throughout their formative years can decide their life success
as well as our society's future prosperity. Outdoor education
highlights the basic relevance of student empowerment and the
role that leadership skills have in improving students' progress,
health, and well-being.
Leadership is a social influence technique that maximizes the
efforts of others toward the attainment of a goal. It has nothing to
do with age or a person's position in a community or group's
hierarchy; this is why everyone can leverage their leadership
talents.

ME AS A CATALYST FOR POSITIVITY
SHARE IT MINUTE
During the COVID-19 pandemic and with the rise of online distance
learning (ODL), several industries acknowledged the importance of
mental health. Numerous groups have also raised awareness about
mental health issues on social media and other platforms. However,
awareness is meaningless unless it is accompanied by action.
Students demand concrete initiatives that may make a significant
impact in their lives. However, fellow students may be in the best
position to effect change. By reaching out to students on a more
personal level, student leaders have the potential to profoundly
impact their mental and emotional well-being.

DONATION DRIVE: #MARINGPH
The organization joined a partnership with Project Namnama
Quirino on October 21, 2021. The purpose of the said
collaboration was to collectively ask and reach a wider audience
for donations that will later be dropped off for the most severely
affected areas of typhoon Maring in Cagayan. In difficult
moments, the desire to extend help is not bound by distance
and quantity. We were able to collect 17,680 pesos for the
#MaringPh victims. Project Namnaman Quirino successfully and
safely delivered all the donations directly to the affected areas.

MENTAL HEALTH CARAVAN
Mental health is one of the most important aspects of life that must
be given enough attention and as much as possible to be the top
priority of a person. The Supreme Student Council-ISU Echague
conducted the Mental Health Caravan on October 28 and 29, 2021,
with the theme: “Listening the Unheard, Telling the Unshared,
Seeing the Unseen”, and with the goal of extending the message
to students that in these challenging times, they are not alone. It is
one of the top advocacies of the university and with no hesitation;
the organization joined into a collaboration to successfully conduct
the said event with a wider audience and helped to share
information about mental health misconceptions and other issues
surrounding the topic.
ISU-E CBAPA-SBO A.Y. 2021-22
Also, with the unending support of all members of the CBAPA-SBO,
the organization was awarded by the Supreme Student Council
headed by Hon. Mark D. Asuncion and the Supreme Student Council
Federation headed by Hon. Jefferson Constantino as the Most Active
Student Body Organization during the Mental Health Caravan.

HIV AWARENESS WEBINAR
In the new millennium, the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has
emerged as the single most dangerous threat to public health,
human rights, and development. Spreading HIV knowledge and
awareness is one of the most important approaches used in the
prevention and control of HIV/AIDS across the world. Inadequate
understanding and dangerous behaviours are key impediments to
HIV prevention.
The organization joined in partnership with the Supreme Student
Council to conduct a webinar entitled “ENDING THE HIV EPIDEMIC:
EQUITABLE ACCESS, EVERYONE’S VOICE” and with the goal of
ending the stigma surrounding HIV Aids.
ISU-E CBAPA-SBO A.Y. 2021-22
And, for the second time, the organization was named the Most
Active Organization at the event. This achievement is dedicated to all
CBAPA students who work persistently to support all of the
organization's activities. The officers take no credit for this recognition
but collectively take the pride founded in the college.

CAMPUS PEACE
DEVELOPMENT FORUM
The Supreme Student Council of the Philippines- Isabela Chapter
is a registered youth organization under the Youth Organization
Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission
(NYC), that aims to support the Philippine government in its effort to
end the local Communist Armed Conflict by encouraging the student
to negate the efforts of the enemies of the state to join their illegal
and terroristic activities.
The CBAPA-SBO was invited to be one of their partners in a Campus
Peace Development Forum that happened on September 18, 2021,
via Zoom. Specifically, the forum aimed to:
to prevent the youth from joining the NPA group;
to strengthen the youth by engaging and educating them; and
to emphasize positive activism towards the youth.

CBAPA DIVERSITY WEEK
Diversity is more than the sum of its components, which include, to
mention a few, ethnicity, ethnic origin and color, religion and creed,
sexual orientation, age, and ability. As ever-evolving humans in an
ever-changing environment, the numerous parts of our humanity -
all of our means of being, knowing, and navigating through the world
- are encapsulated in one single idea.
As humans, we are revealed and make ourselves known to one
another through a limitless variety of intelligence, language, race,
morals, politics, religion, national service, gender presentation,
philosophy, and a slew of other human-shared qualities. Recognizing
our shared humanity is the first step toward celebrating our
differences - distinctions that shape our cultures, values, intellect,
and all our ways of being in the world. Diversity is the primary
informant of the creative life energy, as well as the key reality in our
comprehension and care of it.
