Chaplain's Corner A N I N S P I R A T I O N A L W O R D January 2024 I Trust You with My Future "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." ~ Philippians 3:13-14 We must trust the Father with our past and our future. He is the supreme ruler, and He wants us to have hope based on our faith in His promises to us. Just to know that His mercies are new EVERY morning is enough to let go of the past and have a vision through His faithfulness for my future. “When I think of His goodness and all that He’s done for me” hits different when you know without a shadow of any doubt that He’s been faithful. He has a true track record with me! Let’s not allow our failures and shortcomings distract us from all that the Father has planned for us. We will not allow mental obstacles of doubt and disbelief keep us from the abundant blessings He has waiting for us. Your past can become your prison and keep you from all the possibilities that He has in store for you. Your future depends on whether or not you trust Him with it. Don’t allow discouragement, regrets, grief, frustrations, or failed expectations keep you from His perfect will for your life. Be fully aware of the past, then LET GO OF IT and allow God to redeem and restore you. Set your eyes on the prize of living your life for Him and allowing Him to work miracles in and though your life. Then PRESS forward in His GRACE and trust Him for what lies ahead. We declare: “This is my year to do it all! In Him!” Twila White C H A P L A I N T W I L A W H I T E
