CEO Letter

Welcome to TIANIME SHOES, where we make and sell custom made anime shoes. I am
happy to hear that you are joining us. We are excited to have you here and starting upon
your starting date. Together, we will make shoes that would make customers happy and
satisfied, wanting to come back.

You are joining a business where we aim to make the most creative custom-made anime
shoes. With your creativity, skills, and expertise, the business will be more successful. We
will also be able to meet and satisfy our customers. We sincerely hope you enjoy being part
of our success.

Please take time to read what is expected for the employees to do. To list a few, you will
have to communicate with the customers about what design they want and effectively
make the shoes. You will have to be open-minded and skilled enough to make what the
customers want.

The purpose of this handbook is to provide information that you may need additional
information on and help make TIANIME SHOES become more prosperous.



Mission Statement

Our goal is to make and sell the best custom-made anime shoes. We want to make shoes
that leave customers satisfied, wanting to come back for more. We want to provide shoes
that have a creative and unique designs that can’t be compared to others.

Company Description

The company make and sell anime shoes depending on what the customers want. They
draw, color, and paint shoes that has different designs. They provide different kinds of
shoes sizes, color, and designs. They make shoes that customers want with the best quality
and designs. They have shoes on display that people can see first but if they don’t see one
they like, they can directly ask what they want made and it will be made just like how they
requested.

Dress Code Policy

Here, we want our employees to look ready to assist and carry out their duties for
customers. We value how employees look in front of the customers where they look clean
and professional. Our dress code policy will provide guidelines on what to wear.

• You must wear the shirt provided by the company.
• You must wear black pants that has no designs on it.
• You must wear closed toe shoes meaning no slippers or crocs.
• You can’t wear inappropriate and clothes that represents something negative.
• You can’t wear accessories that hinder your job such as huge rings or earrings.
• You can’t wear saggy pants.
• You can’t wear clothing that is wrinkly and not clean.
• You can’t wear leggings or tight pants.
• Your pants can’t be ripped or have holes.

Cell Phone Policy

Here, we make sure the customers get the assistant that they need and they aren’t
distracted. These policies will help get rid of distractions and promote a productive work
environment. Here are the rules for when you can use your cell phone.

• You can use your phone for emergencies.
• You can use your phone during your breaks or when you need ideas/suggestions.
• Your phone must be silent or turned off when you’re not allowed to have a phone

out.
• You must always remain professional when you use your phone for work.
• You can’t use your phone unless it is work related.
• You can’t use your phone to talk about inappropriate things.

Email Policy and Internet Policy

Here, we use emails for when customers want to email us for additional help or requests.
We provide internet so that employees can communicate well and customers can use it
when needed. Here are the rules so we can ensure we use it in a professional way.

• Your email name and texts must be professional.
• Your email must not be used for personal things and only for work related.
• You can’t send emails that discriminates someone.
• You can’t steal someone’s email.
• You can’t respond in a way that would harm the company’s reputation.
• You can use the internet to find inspirations or assistance on making the shoes.
• You can’t use it to say malicious or inappropriate things.

Holiday Breaks

This company states the holidays they are closed on. Full time employees will qualify for
paid holidays and part-time employees are required to take the day off without pay.
The holidays we’ll be closed on:

• The day before and on New Years’ Day
• The day before and on Patriot’s Day
• The day before and on Independence’s Day
• The day before and on Labor Day

Store Hours

Listed below is the day and time we are opened.
Sunday: Closed
Monday: 9am – 11pm
Tuesday: 8am - 10pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 10pm
Thursday: 9am – 11pm
Friday: 9am – 11pm
Saturday: Closed

Vacation Days

Here at TIANIME SHOES, Full Time Employees can take up to five days off every year while
being paid. Part Time Employees can have up to two days off every year while being paid.
Whenever possible, employees will need to state what days they will be taking off at least
three days in advance.

Payroll Information

The pay is $12.00 per hour. Employees will be paid every two weeks. There will be a raise
for the employee depending on their actions and how excellent they work.

Sexual Harassment

Sexual Harassment is unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other
verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature in which submission to or rejection of such
conduct explicitly or implicitly affects an individual's work or school.

TIANIME SHOES is a company that is devoted to creating a healthy environment without
any discrimination or sexual harassment. All employees should be treated fairly. Sexual
Harassment at the workplace that involves the employees will be punished.

Types of Sexual Harassment:

• Quid pro quo—occurs when a person suggests something will be given in return for
sexual favors.

• Hostile environment—occurs when unwelcome sexually harassing conduct is so
severe, persistent, or pervasive that it affects a person’s ability to participate in or
benefit from an education program or activity, work, or creates an intimidating,
threatening or abusive educational environment.

Four types of Sexual Harassment:

• Verbal—saying insults, jokes, slurs, calling names, criticizing, etc., that are mostly
intended towards a sexual motive

• Written—writing something intended towards a sexual motive
• Visual—things like inappropriate drawings or cartoons
• Physical—involves unwelcome touching like rubbing, touching, hugging on a person

It is Sexual Harassment when:

• There are sexual pranks, teasing, or jokes or there is verbal abuse
• Touching or grabbing inappropriately or making sexual gestures
• When the person says they are not interested but they keep pursuing
• Standing too close to someone or touching inappropriately

If there is a report of sexual harassment, all reports will be taken seriously and further
investigation will take place. Any employee confirmed of committing sexual harassment will
be fired and there will be a punishment. You will need to report this to a higher authority.

Smoking Policy

Here at TIANIME SHOES, we only allow smoking in designated smoking areas. All employees
and customers are required to obey these smoking policies. These following policies will
ensure the safety of employees and customers from smoke.

• You can only smoke in the designated smoking area.
• No smoking in the store.
• You can not smoke in front of customers or near other people.
• You can not smoke near the store and only can smoke at places that have a smoking

sign.

Lunch Break Policy

Employees are given a lunch period where they are allowed to take a break and eat. Here is
the polices that you will need to follow.

• You can eat lunch during your lunch time.
• You can leave the property to get lunch but must come back on time.
• You can stay near the lunch area.
• You will be given at least 1 lunch break during the day.
• Additional breaks can be requested if need to.
• If they work more than 8 hours, they need to have a lunch break at least for 30

minutes.
• If they work more than 10 hours, they need to have a lunch break at least for 1 hour.

regularly updating your handbook. Sumner County Schools reserves the right to modify,
change, disregard, suspend or cancel at any time, without written or verbal notice, all or
any part of the handbook’s contents as circumstances my require.

A Shoe Designer is in charge of designing shoes based on what the customers want. They
have to draw, color, and paint shoes. They receive requests from customers and then by
using their skills and abilities, they will be able to give the best customized shoes to the
customers.

They must be able to produce a product that satisfy the customer’s want. They must be
able to design shoes in the normal amount of time it takes to design one. They must be
someone that has the qualifications in order to make our business successful.

Responsibilities

• Visualizes and design new shoes
• Make designs based on what customers want
• Apply color and graphic materials
• Work with others to get the work done
• Work with color and patterns to make shoes

Requirements

• College degree in arts
• 1-3 years of experience in fashion related industry

Assembler Job Description
An Assembler is in charge of producing the basics of the shoes including the heels, toe
cap, insole, and outsole. They make the basics of the shoes where it is then given to the
shoe designer so they can finish making the shoes.

Responsibilities
• Know how to assemble shoes
• Know each part of the shoes
• Pay great attention to how the shoe is made
• Have hand and eye coordination
• Be able to make shoes in a timely manner

Requirements
• At least a high school degree
• Ability to produce the basics of the school
• Know what the materials and parts needed to make the shoes
• Experience in fast paced environments preferred
• Be able to design shoes based on what the customer wants.

Advertising Assistant Job Description

An Advertising Assistant is in charge of creating marketing campaigns to promote the
shoes and gain more customers. They help answer calls, send emails, help get more
customers, and making campaigns. They need to have strong communication skills and
the creativity to gain more customers.

Responsibilities

• Know how to make the advertisements creative and captivating
• Be able to work with others to advertise
• Be able to analyze data and know what to do next
• Proofread the information
