A. Reviewing previous or presenting new lesson
● House rules will be presented/formulated.
● Students will be asked to identify the components of the grading system.
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson
● I marites: guilty or not guilty
- Ask students of their understanding of the word “marites”.
- Survey them as to whether or not they are guilty of it.
C. Presenting examples/ instances of the new lesson
● Countering the marites culture
- Introduce the term “reliability”

● Based on their schema, let the students identify the qualities of reliable
information source

● The class will be divided into 6 groups and will be given 5 minutes to come up
with a role play showing the following scenes: informative talks, panel
discussion and speeches. Each group will be given 3 minutes to perform.
