260LX – THE PERFECT TENDER TAKACAT

The 260LX is the baby of our fleet but the perfect tender option. Its light in weight but still
has all the features of our larger LX Series models. The 260LX is a true inflatable catamaran
tender, ideal for yachts, launches and larger trailer boats. The 260LX makes the perfect
motorhome and caravan toy as it can easily be stowed away into smaller spaces. Ideal for
1-2 people for fishing or 3-4 as a tender, the Takacat 260LX is easy to get on and off from
your main boat and with the open bow and open transom no water stays on board. Small
yet robust it is built with ease of use in mind. With its sleek design and size, it also allows

300LX – THE PORTABLE TENDER TAKACAT

The 300LX is our flagship tender and the most popular in the LX series. The innovative
design has ben proven over time with thousands of happy customers. The 300LX is slightly
larger than the 260LX but also compacts down into two small storage bags to offer the
customer the same compact storage solution. The 300LX with its open bow offers the
user the same ease of getting on and off the boat and the open transom allows for a dry
ride which is a great advantage when being towed or used in rough conditions. Perfectly

340LX – THE ULTIMATE PORTABLE BOAT TAKACAT

The T340LX is favourite for the recreational fisher as well as the caravan and motorhome
markets. It's clever hull design makes the Takacat a high performer in any weather
conditions. The extra length in waterline length helps provide quick and level planning.
The slightly largest airdeck floor provides enough room for the diving, fishing or
watersports enthusiast. The 340LX has a slightly wider beam (1.65m) than the 300LX to
provide extra stability yet can still be packed away easily into two storage bags one at 23kg

The Takacat T380LX is a our most popular family boat. Ideal for 5-6 people T380LX has the
additional buoyancy and space for added passenger numbers or when you simply want

Takacat INTRODUCING THE ULTRA LIGHT “L” SERIES
Open Bow & Closed Transom

The Takacat L Series are designed as the ultra lightweight open bow portable tender . The L Series like
the Go Series are lightweight and super stable and weigh just 20 or 24kgs depending on which model
you are after. These are very easy to stow inflated on top of a cabin, transom or foredeck. They fold
down easily into one small portable bag and can be stowed below deck if need be. The L Series are idea
for yachts, launches, trailer boat, motorhome or caravans.

The L Series Takacats feature an open bow and closed transom. The tubes are made from 1000 denier
0.9mm pvc and feature two chambers with pressure relief valves to avoid any over inflation. All L Series
feature welded seams and are designed to be used with short shafted (15") outboard engines.

The open bow and stern create a forced bilge. Water that penetrates the Takayak-395, e.g. due to
an overflowing wave or heavy rain, immediately escapes again; no bilge valve can realise such a
bilge capability. Another advantage is that it is easy to return out of the water. No time-
consuming safety and re-entry training is necessary.

some extra fun, check out the Taka Dock.

With thicker air cover fabric it results in a platform that is ultra stiff and super buoyant. The high
density drop stitch manufacturing technique anchors the upper and lower PVC sections together
enabling the TakaDock to be inflated to 10 - 12 psi creating an incredibly rigid and form platform.

The Taka Dock also has anti-slip surface along with multiple grip handles and anchor points. All
connections are adhered to with a high quality chemical bond which enables the dock to remain

The Hull and decking in the Takacat RIB range are made of hand laid up Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) with all gel coat finish.

AIR COMPARTMENTS
The Takacat "EXPLORER" 4.4m and 4.9m each have a five compartment configuration, being one bow, two port and two starboard
compartments.
The Takacat "PREDATOR" 5.1m, 5.4m and 6.3m has a six compartment configuration being two bow, two port and two starboard
compartments.
The Takacat "PREDATOR" 7.5m has a 10 compartment configuration being two bow, four port and four starboard compartments.
