TITLE World Student Festival - Ho Chi Minh City 2024 DATE 01 - 04 August 2024 THEME “Igniting Youth-led Social Impact: From Local to Global” VENUE Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam ORGANIZER The Vietnam Union of Students of Ho Chi Minh City OBJECTIVES 1. To promote exchanges between Ho Chi Minh City and international students in leadership, science, and culture through thematic activities. 2. To provide students with an environment for engaging in discussions about global issues, regional challenges and addressing them at both the local and global levels. 3. To involve students in multicultural experiences and promote cultural creativity and heritage among students from different countries. DELEGATES 150 delegates* divided in two delegations: the delegation of young researchers, and the delegation of young leaders. 1. The delegation of young researchers: 100 delegates who have outstanding research papers submitted to the 8th International Student Science Forum 2024. 2. The delegation of young leaders: 50 delegates who are: (1) leaders of student-led organizations. (2) leaders of social or volunteer projects. (3) leaders of Vietnamese youth’s and students’ organizations in foreign countries. * Nationality: All nations. * Students who have a strong interest and knowledge on 17 SDGs and leadership. * Students who have a good command of English (official language for the festival). ORIENTATION SESSION * Planned to be held on July 22nd, 2024 (tentative). * All delegates are required to participate in the orientation session via video conferencing system.

PARTICIPATION FEE No registration or participation fee. The organizers will cover the accomodation and meals for the duration of the festival, professional/academic training & leaderships courses for all delegates.
