Note : Eligible criteria for internal candidates, academic designation of faculties as approved by the

Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Assam will be applicable.

Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application in prescribed proforma to “The

Director, Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Gopinath Nagar, A. K. Azad Road, Guwahati-
781016, Assam” on or before 20th May 2016. The application must accompany attested copies of

certificates & testimonials, two copies of recent passport size photographs along with application fee

of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in form of Demand Draft drawn on a nationalized bank of
India in favour of “Director, Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati’ payable at Guwahati.

Persons working under Central / State Govt. / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous organization
should submit their application through proper channel. They may, however, send an advance copy of
the application along with enclosures which should reach before the prescribed last date.

The candidate for medical faculty posts must be registered with the Medical Council of Indian States /
Union Territories.

Preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in the respective fields in
recognized institutions.

Limited residential single / family accommodation available inside hospital premises.

Private practice outside hospital working hours is permissible as per existing rules.

The Management of Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute will not be responsible for rejection of
applications due to late postal delivery.

The Institute reserves the right to reject or accept any candidature without assigning any reason
thereof.

The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final.

The applicants, who do not have requisite qualifications up to the last date for submission of
applications, will not be considered.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Candidates should note that mere fulfilling of the minimum requisite & experience bestows no right on
them to be called for test / interview. Only shortlisted candidate will be called for the test / interview
as the Institute deemed fit.
