LAKEWOOD FAB TECH’S HISTORY

From 1965 to 2015, Lakewood operated under the name Lakewood Process Machinery, serv-
ing primarilly the fruit and vegetable, agricultural, and food processing industies, with both cus-
tom and standard proprietary machinery and complete equipment lines to aid in reducing labor
costs and increasing efficiency.
In 2013, Lakewood Fab Tech was formed as a sibling company to Lakewood Process Machinery-
and a complete sheet metal shop was put into place in our facility. In it’s early stages, Lakewood
Fab Tech primarily offered short-run sheet metal fab jobs that were fit in between Lakewood
Process Machinery equipment orders with the hope to utilize the new sheet metal shop, and the
team’s overall fabrication experience for opportunities beyond what the company was already
achieving with it’s own equipment line.
On March, 2015, Lakewood Process Machinery’s name and equipment lines were sold, allowing
Lakewood Fab Tech the opportunity to actively pursue its full potential as a single source sup-
plier for fabrication work on a broader scale.
Lakewood Fab Tech now operates in a 47,500 square-foot facility, dedicated to providing high-
quality fabrication services, on time, and at a fair price. Our team is made up of experienced fab-
ricators, machinist, welders, programmers, and more - and operates with a continous improve-
ment mantality at all times.
Our focus over the years has changed significantly, but our dedication to our craft customer’s
needs remains the same. For more information on our history, visit www.lakewoodfabtech.com.

POWDER COATING

A UNIQUE & VALUE-ADDED APPROACH FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
Lakewood’s experience in outsourceing powder coating services for our customers has allowed us to see just
how hard it can be at times, to add outsourced powder coating to a project already on a tight deadline, so
we decided to take matters into our own hands.
In early 2017, we installed a ( ) x ( ) powder coating oven, enabling us to offer in-house powder coating
services to our existing fabrication and production manufacturing customers. In an effort to continue to
keep our powder coating services open and available as a value-added service to those customers, we cur-
rently do not offer powder coating as a stand-alone service.
