launched it. It was a big push towards the be erment of how Special points of interest

In The Beginning

The launching of the 5S in November 2015 was the easy part
since most of the hard work has already been done by the
various Commi ees —Audit, Standardiza on, Training and
Promo on to ensure that we are able to launch it as planned.
Everyone of us at a certain point in me back then was di-
rectly or indirectly involved.

Certainly, how can we ever forget of the Red Tags, the
Holding Room and everything else that relates to the SEIRI
stage, we diligently went around looking for items that are no
longer serving its purpose and gathering dust to be Red
Tagged and in the process, cleared our space of the clu er.
Such was the energy displayed that we had no problems
clearing the first “S” - SEIRI.

We applied the same energy for the following two stages of
SEITON and SEISO.

Where are we Now?

We are at the tail end of the journey and we need to conform
to the fourth and fi h “S” of SEIKETSU and SHITSUKE respec-

vely. Hence, let us all remind ourselves of the need to com-
plete this mission.
