Helping Students Stay in School at Cabrillo College

FOUNDATION

What is WES?

Women’s Educational Success (WES) provides a safety
net to Cabrillo College students who have an emergency

expense, such as a textbook, car repair, or childcare.
Students receive this aid within two weeks! More than

100 students each year receive grants up to $750
to help them stay in school.

Gifts to WES are endowed, ensuring that students for
generations to come will find the help they need to
succeed in school.

$68,000 in WES grants will be awarded
this year — the largest award ever!

Thanks to a generous grant of $10,000 from the
Sharanam Foundation and the Wedeen Hammer Group

at Morgan Stanley, every donation of $250 or more
will be matched.
