Narrator: Grandpa pig is taking Peppa and
George on a boat trip.
Polly parrot is going, too.
Granny: Grandpa pig, have you got your
mobile phone?
Grandpa: Yes, granny pig.
Granny: Don’t drop it in the water.
Grandpa: No, Granny pig.

Granny: Is it switched on?
Grandpa: Yes, Granny pig. Bye!
Granny: Bye-bye!
Narrator: Here is granddad dog.
Granddad Dog: Aha there. Lovely day to go
sailing.
I would go, too.
But my boat needs to clean.

Grandpa: I don’t know why you bother
cleaning that rusty boat.
I’m surprised it’s still afloat.
Granddad Dog: This rusty boat will still be
afloat long after your old tin boat has sunk to
the bottom of the river.

Narrator: Granddad dog is grandpa pig’s very
best friend.
Grandpa: Boat steam ahead!
Granddad Dog: Goodbye!

Grandpa: I am the captain of this boat, and
when the captain tells you to do something,
you must do it.
Children: Aye, aye Captain!
Polly: Aye, aye, Captain!
Narrator: Polly parrot copies everything that
they said.
Grandpa: George, raise the flag.
Polly: George, raise the flag.

Grandpa: Peppa, ring the bell.
Peppa: Grandpa, can I be the captain, please?
Grandpa: OK. But as a captain, you must
wear this hat.
Narrator: Now Peppa is the captain, and
everyone must do what she says.
Peppa: Ring the bell. Turn that wheel.
Grandpa: Aye aye, Captain Peppa.

Peppa: Jump up and down.
Narrator: Captain Peppa is a bit bossy.
Grandpa: Perhaps I should be the captain
again.
We don’t want a crash into anything.
Steering the boat can be tricky.
Luckily, I’m good at steering.

Narrator: Oh dear. Grandpa pig’s boat has
crashed into a little island.
Peppa: Grandpa, we’re stuck.
Grandpa: I’ll ring granny pig. She can get
help.
Wow, oh.

Narrator: Grandpa pig has dropped his phone
in the water.
Granny: Granny pig speaking. Hello? Hello.
Hello.
Grandpa: Somehow, we need to get a message
to granny.
Polly: Message to granny.

Peppa: Polly can fly to granny.
Grandpa: Good idea, Peppa! And I can teach
Polly what to say.
Grandpa: Grandpa pig says,
Polly: Grandpa pig says,
Grandpa: Help,
Polly: help!

Grandpa: There you see easy peasy.
Polly: Grandpa pig says easy peasy.
Grandpa: You silly old bird.
Granny: Hello, Polly. What are you doing
here?
Polly: Grandpa pig says,
Granny: What does grandpa pig say?
Polly: You silly old bird.
Granny: Oh!

Polly: Help, help!
Granny: Goodness me, grandpa must need
help!
Granny: Granddad dog.
Granddad Dog: Hello, granny pig.
Granny: Grandpa pig needs help.
Please, could you rescue him?
Granddad Dog: Madam, I would be delighted.

All: Hurray!
Granddad Dog: Aha there.
Do you need rescuing, captain?
Grandpa: En, maybe.
Granddad Dog: Would you like my rusty old
boat to rescue you?
Grandpa: Yes, please, granddad dog.

Granddad Dog: Catch this, captain.
Grandpa: Aye aye, skip off.
Narrator: Granddad dog is grandpa pig’s very
best friend.

Peppa: Granny, did Polly tell you we needed
help?
Granny: Yes, Polly is a very clever parrot.
Granddad Dog: Say I’m a clever parrot, woof
woof!
Polly: I’m a clever parrot, woof woof!
