Personal pronouns are used to replace the subject of a sentence (subject
pronoun) or the object of a sentence (object pronoun).

The simple present tense is used to show a habitual action, a universal
truth or an imperative.

To form the simple present tense, use the base form for a plural verb and
add -s, -es or -ies to a singular verb. An imperative begins with the base form
of a verb.

A subject must agree with the verb in a sentence. Singular subjects such
as singular nouns, uncountable nouns, abstract nouns and pronouns ‘he’,
‘she’ and ‘it’ take singular verbs.
