Welcome to St Bartholomew's and St Barnabas and our services this
Sunday. If this is your first visit we hope you will feel comfortable and
able to take a full part in our worship.

Everyone is warmly invited to stay for tea or coffee and a chat after the

 Annual Church Meeting St Bartholomew's Annual Meeting is this
Thursday 3rd March 2016 at 7:30pm. Everyone is Welcome and please
try to attend this important meeting. Apologies for absence should be
given to the DCC Secretary June Staten.

 Fan the Flames is tonight at 6:00pm in St John's Church Tupton. This
is Service for Everyone.

 Half Day Retreat is this Tuesday 1st March 2016 from 1:00pm to
3:00pm in St Bartholomew's Church. Please see Yvonne Haywood to
find out more about it.

 “Talking Heads Prayer” is not on this week but will be back the
following Tuesday.

 Church Open St Bartholomew's is open every Wednesday 12:00 noon
until 2:00pm for prayer and reflection, everyone is welcome.

 House Group is meeting this Wednesday, 2 March 2016, at 7:30pm
and will be held at 6 Nightingale Close, Danesmoor. For further details
please see Rod and Chris Leighton. Everyone is Welcome.

 Women's World Day of Prayer This is to be held this Friday 4th
March 2016 at 2.15pm at St Barnabas Church. All are welcome.

 First Aid Course St Barnabas Centre will be holding a First Aid
Course led by St John's Ambulance from 9:00am to 12:00noon on
Tuesday 8th March. The cost is £20 per person. Further details are
available from Steve Smart at the St Barnabas Centre.

 Children's Society Boxes Please would you bring in any boxes that
you have and give them to Henry & Ann Pinney. Thanks.

 St Barnabas Community Cafe If there is anyone who would like to
know more about volunteering at the cafe on a Thursday lunchtime
please have a word with Yvonne Haywood who will be able to tell you
more. This could be in the kitchen, serving or baking, once a month or
more often. Training is given.

 Personal Assistant needed to care for a couple in Clay Cross £9 a hour
on a four week rota system. Hours vary from 9 to 14 a week. Drivers
preferred. Please see Sue Jackson for exact details of hours, shifts etc.

 Prayer Ministry is available for everyone at St Bartholomew's Holy
Communion Services at the back of church. It is strictly confidential

and available for anyone who would like prayer for any personal matter
of any kind.
 Prayer Chain. If you have a prayer request, during the week, either for
yourself or someone else, please put it on our prayer chain. If it is for
someone else please ensure that you have their permission before
making the request. Prayer requests should be sent to Jennie Strong
preferably by email [email protected] or by telephoning
