WHAT DID I LEARN FROM THIS CHAPTER ? 1) From the chapter 8 is communication, I learn about the process of transmitting a message to the receiver to obtain a response. The manager has to ensure that communication is effective enough to achieve organizational targets. Effective communication means the receiver understands the message clearly. After that, I learn about the 8 elements in the communication process Next, I also learn about 3 three types of communication. Lastly, I learn about formal and informal form of communication. 2) From the chapter 9 is quality, I learn about total quality management who are creating an organizational culture committed to the continuously improvement of skills teamwork and customer satisfaction. So, each organization members need to instil the mindset of doing the right thing for the first time. Then be customer centred. After that, make continuous improvement to gain a competitive advantage to succeed. 3) From the chapter 10 is Islamic management. I learn about practical ever since the era of Prophet Muhammad. It also gives us detailed regulations on management directly follows the teachings of Islam is Prophet Muhammad is generated from the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. 5
6 MY OWN CHALLENGES 1. I will spend a lot of time to learn and try looking up the keywords to help me understand chapters that contain a lot of theory, like the one on communication and quality, because I'm having difficulties understanding them. 2. When the lecturer used difficult-to-understand English during the class, I will be less focused because I'm less talented in using the English language. 3. Speaking in front of others made me nervous and afraid because I felt ashamed of my terrible English.
7 MY OWN STRATEGIES 1) I'll prepare a book specifically about with this subject and making notes using the colourful mind map technique because that makes it easier for me to recognise key terms and understand the chapter. 2) I'll spend a few hours after class for discussing and communicating with my friends about the topics that we learned in class to understand more about this topics. 3) In order to clear up any confusion about this subject, I will ask the lecturer to explain the topic in more detail. It's because the subject is very theoretical and requires for a wide range of organizations and leadership understanding.
8 At the beginning of the semester, I was really worried, scared, and terrified that I would not be able to manage this topic properly since I wasn't interested in a subject that relied heavily on facts, and I also wasn't really proficient in English. Based on the fact that I have studied this topic for a few weeks, I am still confused of myself. But now I am already truly happy because I fully understood all the chapters of this subject with the guidance of my beautiful lecturers and my good friends. MY OWN FEELING ABOUT THIS CHAPTER
9 CONCLUSION I realized that I had learned a great deal about management while working on the assignment. My ability to find information has improved as a result of this assignment. In addition, this course really improved my academic performance by helping me in fulfilling my goals. By learning about this topic, I will more easily make the useful when making and push myself to achieve all of the targets that have been set. For example, if I want to be a successful student, I must contact the lecturer and ask her about any topics I don't understand. This will bring me one step closer to completing my target.
