In the past 5 years we have bought 4 properties and sold 2 so we have dealt with a number of Real Estate
agents and I would 100% recommend dealing with Conal and his team. To say what is good about Conal and
Kingfisher I would first have to say what is wrong with most other agents, at least on the Gold Coast. The
problem with most other agents is that they only have their own interests at heart. Most agents try and 'sell' the
property owners. They do this by making them accept that their property is worth less than market value. They
do this so they can sell the property quickly and easily as the difference on $50,000 of commission doesn't make
much difference to their end pay-cheque but it's an easier and more guaranteed job for them. The differences
with Conal is that firstly he is one of the only agents that I have come across that isn't completely full of (you
know what). He is also one of the only agents I have met that has the (you know what's) and work ethic to chase
a proper price for your property. And by proper I mean HIGH. Maybe it's the country tenacity that he recognises
a proper days work and isn't just looking for an quick easy pay day. Or maybe he actually recognises that he will
run a better business if he has his client's best interest at heart, not his own. Dealing with Conal and his team
was a pleasure but it is because of these reasons that I would definitely recommend using Conal and his team at
Kingfisher to sell your property.

FAQ’S When is the best time to sell?
Buyers for good quality properties can be found all year round. With the
marketing processes becoming far more sophisticated than in previous
times, the issue of timing is becoming far less critical today than in the
past. Investment properties may benefit from the large influx of interstate
buyers that visit in Gold Coast during summer and holiday periods.

What is the best method of sale for my property?
This varies from property to property, but for the majority of properties,
sale by private treaty produces great results in satisfactory timelines
compared to other method of sale in today’s market.

What is the average selling time required in today’s market?
While this does vary from property to property and depends on your
property being accurately priced, typically the time required varies from
between four – ten weeks, allowing an additional two week period for the
preparation of marketing material. Another agent has offered me a
discount commission rate...

Why would I pay an agent the full REIQ recommended commission rate?
If the first thing an agent does to win your business is to cut the
commission, then this is usually the first thing an agent will do when a
buyer arrives – give away your money!! Instead of focusing on what the
agent gets, focus on what you get. A good negotiator can be worth an
extra 10% or even more on the price of your home! The saving of money
from a lower commission rate could be wiped out by a lower selling price.
