APPRECIATION

This folio is dedicated to our chemistry teachers who helped and guided us into making this
folio project. Without their help, we would not be able to understand the topics given in the
beginning. Also, thank you to our beloved parents who give us undying support through out
the process of making this folio. Of course this appreciation also goes to our lovely friends
that help us find the information needed , help us solving the problem together and sacrificing
their precious time for this project folio.

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES

Manufacturing is one of the most important action to be done in the industry. There are many
importance in the manufacturing sector. The manufacturing sector is regarded as the
backbone of both social and economic development. They aid in the modernisation of
agriculture and the reduction of people's significant reliance on agricultural income by offering
jobs in the secondary and tertiary sectors. Aircraft, automobiles, chemicals, clothing,
computers, consumer electronics, electrical equipment, furniture, heavy machinery, refined
petroleum products, ships, steel, and tools and dies are some of the examples of manufacturing
industries.

OBJECTIVES

Understand importance of alloys and composite materials besides appreciate the composition
and uses of glass and ceramics.
