WHO WE ARE

PROFESSIONALISM IS OUR PROMISE

Founded in 1972 in a former loft apartment by Sol J. Fleischman, Jr., AIA and the late Eduard Garcia, AIA, the firm has grown and prospered throughout
the last four decades to become one of the largest and most experienced locally owned architecture, planning and interior design firms in the region.
FleischmanGarcia has spent the last four decades earning an enviable reputation for creating and delivering superior architecture, planning, and interior
design services for the built environment where people live, learn, work, heal, worship, and play.
Our philosophy is about doing the right thing. We build relationships with our clients, consultants, and contractors based on respect and trust and bring
passion, energy, and creativity to every project. While leading the way with technology and sustainability, we have a deep respect for the past. We’re a

MEET OUR
DESIGNERS

SOL FLEISCHMAN, JR., AIA, NCARB

Chairman and CEO
Sol is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of FleischmanGarcia
with more than 46 years of experience in planning and architectural design. Sol
provides the broad design direction for the firm and he works in close collaboration
with many of the firm’s clients. Sol has extensive design experience in nearly every
design style, specializing in modern, mediterranean, contemporary, caribbean,
and neo-classical.

DEBORAH GRAVES, RID

Licensed Interior Designer and Space Planner
Debbie is an associate principal of FleischmanGarcia and manages the Sarasota
office. She has more than 37 years of professional experience in interior design. Over
her 12 years with FleischmanGarcia, her focus has been creating spaces that promote
productivity and efficiency. Her long-standing experience in interior design, results in
perfecting interior palettes that flow with the varied architectural styles.

VIRGINIA LARREA, ASID, NCIDQ, LEED® AP

Licensed Interior Designer
Virginia is a licensed interior designer at FleischmanGarcia, with more than 26
years of professional experience in interior design for a wide range of industries,
including corporate office buildings, commercial hospitality, and financial
businesses. She specializes in millwork and interior detailing, as well as furniture
procurement.

FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

AVILA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

This clubhouse reflects the Mediterranean
Revival style, with red clay roofing tiles and
a stucco-like exteriors incorporated into the
design. Inside, the wooden framing surrounding
each room add a regal feel to the space, in
addition to intricate wrought iron light fixtures.
Plush carpeting decorate the main dining halls,
as well as marbled and dark hardwood floors
found throughout the building.

CHAMPIONS’ CLUB

This clubhouse’s Mediterranean Style architectural design is accented by a barrel-tile roof, a porte cochere
and a circular driveway. Leading into the interior of the clubhouse, there are stone Tuscan columns, surrounded
by arched windows. The interior design features travertine floors and a mixture of rich wood and leather
accents throughout the main rooms, adding to the distinctive atmosphere of luxury.

BELLEAIR COUNTRY CLUB

The Belleair Country Club Fitness and Aquatic
Center offers an expansive layout, allowing for brick
columns to surround the exterior of the building in a
symmetrical fashion. Different community areas are
available to visitors, with colorful furniture and neutral
walls. The fitness center provides an abundance
of natural light, creating a bright and energetic
atmosphere leading into the pool and patio area.

DON CESAR SPA OCEANA

The Don CeSar Hotel is an aesthetic staple adorning
the St. Petersburg shoreline with an unmistakable
Mediterranean flair. The Spa Oceana was designed
to complement this iconic style, featuring a world class
spa and rooftop garden with a brick-paved terrace and
fountain. The spa interiors were designed for ultimate
relaxation and serenity, incorporating natural light into
every room with large windows and cream colors for a
peaceful experience.

FOUNDER’S CLUB

The Founder’s Clubhouse design was inspired by the
architecture of the Louisana low country, featuring
broad, covered verandas and colonnades of slender
columns supported on brick pedestals. The interiors
provide a feeling of grandeur, but also intimacy,
with a large brick fireplace positioned on the dining
veranda that adjoins the main clubhouse. The formal
dining areas offer a touch of elegance to the building,
with white, coffered ceilings and plush carpeting
throughout the spaces.

PALMA CEIA GOLF CLUBHOUSE

The Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club is one of Tampa’s oldest and most exclusive private country clubs,
and was designed to reflect it’s prestigious status in the community. The club was rennovated to include a
number of new facilities, from a junior Olympic swimming pool to new weight training and workout rooms.
The Plantation Style exterior features classic white columns with adorning wrought iron railing, which
complement the traditional brick-paved poolside patios. The interiors offer rich, wood panneling throughout
the clubhouse and dramatic light fixtures

TREASURE ISLAND YACHT CLUB

This Mediterranean-style, three-story, elevated
clubhouse allows for spectacular views of the
intracoastal waterway. The exterior offers arched
arcades on the gorund level, dramatic balustrade
stairways coming down from the second floor
along the waterfront, and liberal use of cast stone
ornaments, moldings and details. There are informal
and formal dining areas within the clubhouse, with
the interiors also featuring large, sweeping windows
throughout each space.

PLANTATION GOLF AND RAQUET CLUB

The main elements of this clubhouse were
designed in a “pod” concept to facilitate
easy and convenient future expansion. This
is prevalent in the connecting walkways
interwining throughout the campus. The design
utilizes interesting lattice shapes and exposed
rafters to give the club a “Bermuda/Islands”
flair. The “pods” include a large dining facility
with a bar/lounge area and a multi-court tennis
facility with a competition swimming pool.
