Our Intimate Chapel & Catering Venue – ‘ Tall Trees ’Here at 19, Thorne Road, we can now offer use of our own private, intimate chapel and catering venue. We have room for 30 guests and parking for 12 cars. We also have a separate function room to accommodate a small reception, following a service in the Chapel. Direct cremation is a modern alternative to a traditional cremation funeral, where the cremation takes place without any ceremony and is often not attended by anyone. This gives family and friends the opportunity to remember their loved one either at their own special remembrance event or when the cremated remains are scattered or interred, without the formality of a funeral service. Choosing us means that you will always know where your loved one is and that they will be treated with the utmost care and dignity.Option 1 - Collection of the person who has died during working hours and their conveyance to a local crematorium . This option gives absolutely no access to any of our other services. No family members or mourners may attend this service or visit their loved one in the Chapel of Rest.£1145.00Option 2 - As option 1, with the addition of the preparation of the person who has died and use of our Chapel of Rest where you may visit your loved one during normal working hours.£1290.00Option 3 - As option 1, with the addition that up to 25 guests may attend and witness the committal.
