The Grade 8 panama hood is one of Christys finest, with
a timeless medium brim, it sits at the heart of Christys
summer collection. Hand woven in Ecuador using
traditional methods and blocked in our Oxfordshire
factory. A simple band and bow are the perfect finishing
details to our finest panamas.

Paul Green (35 years service)
Paul first started at Christys hats as a helmet operative, learning the skill of
moulding and finishing a police helmet, he then refined his skills by
learning the art of blocking, rounding and stiffening panamas.
Pauls favoured style is the Preset for its classic elegance.

Panama hats. The panama is hand woven by Ecuadorian
weavers over many weeks and then then trimmed and
blocked by hand by our master craftsmen here in Oxfordshire.
The combined skills are the result of hundreds of years of
experience and creates a truly beautiful hat.
