At Christys’ London, craft is key. Since its founding in 1773, Miller
Christy’s passion for impeccable quality and skilled craftsmanship has
passed through generations of hat makers, safeguarding Christys red
and gold insignia as a symbol synonymous with fine traditionally crafted
hats.
In addition to our Christys’ London staples, this season sees a refined
collection of British made hats and accessories.
Finest Cashmere beanies and scarves knitted and woven in the UK, our
exclusive numbered limited edition Conway Stewart for Christys’
London pen collection, hand crafted cufflinks in collaboration with mas-
ter jeweller Deakin and Francis, an exquisite Christys’ London timepiece
inspired by classic British tweed, British hand made gloves ,Silk ties and
pocket squares traditionally hand printed in the UK for over 250 years,
complimented by stylish pocket squares made from Liberty print fabric,
fine leather wallets and luxury umbrellas hand crafted for over 150 years

A range of traditional shapes finished in the traditional way with fine ribbons
coloured to compliement the shade of the hat. Available in wool and fur, these styles
are made by hand in the traditional way at our Oxfordshire factory.
As we have been making beautiful hats in both wool and fur for over 245 years, you

HERITAGE FUR COLLECTION

Our Fur Felt hats are handmade to ensure a soft and luxurious feel and retain great
quality throughout their life. Our hats are still manufactured using traditional methods
crafting the brim and crown separately in our
Witney factory, a short distance from the historic city of Oxford.
Alongside making all the timeless classics, we have also developed a new range of Fur
Felt styles, now branded with our removable Christys crest hat pin and refreshed trims
with re-styled bows and classic feathers.

First starting at CW Headdress/ Christys’ as a cutting room operative, quickly rising

through the ranks to cutting and helmet supervisor. Craig is now our Production

Crafted from the finest Beaver Fur Felt our new collection sees this most
luxurious of fur felts realised in our jewel and stone colours to create a range
of superb quality hats.
This felt is renowned for its soft, smooth and luxurious feel.
Named after iconic British castles, these classic shapes are steeped in heritage,
most of which have been classic styles for Christys since 1773.

Shirley Hewer ( 28 years service)
First starting at CW Headdress as a Helmet Operative, before progressing throu-
gh to the Christys team on trims and finishing. Shirley is now Trims and Finishing
Team leader and overseas a team of Machinists to ensure all our hats are finished

to the highest of standards.
Shirley’s favourite style is the Fedora as its stylish and elengant.

Seen above using an industrial steamer to block the basic shape, into a fur
felt hat at our factory in Witney, Oxfordshire.
