Letter to the Readers
Hello there, dear readers! Good morning to everyone!
I hope you're all doing well these days because we're all St. Clare College
graduates, and I hope we all graduate. Before we all graduate, we must first
struggle to achieve our academic goals. There will be a slew of assignments,
projects to complete, and school activities, such as this work immersion. This
immersion is critical because we go outside of school to learn new things or
lessons in working with others.
We not only work outside, but we also meet other people and learn how they
cope with what they do and why they do it. Work immersion does not imply
that you will work with others just to get through our school activities;
rather, we do this to mingle and learn about them. We learn by working with
the assistance of others, and we do so not by listening to them as we do in
class, but by listening to them in order to do what we need to do and to assist
them in reducing their workload. Work immersion also enables us to
understand how businesses or employees can be more productive or
successful in their endeavors.
This activity of school helps us to put our learning at school in real
situations.
MARWIN M. ILAC
FOREWORD
“Work Immersion refers to the part of the Senior High School (SHS)
Curriculum consisting of 80 hours of hands-on experience or work
simulation which the Grade 11 and Grade 12 students will undergo to
expose them to the actual workplace setting and to enrich the competencies
provided by the school under the supervision of the School Head and the
designated personnel of the Partner.”
In view of this, the Work Immersion Portfolio is a compilation of
written works, activities, and experiences that we have completed as a
student in Work Immersion. It contains documents which will provide
tangible evidences of the wide range of knowledge, skills, we possess as a
growing professionals.
Therefore, Work Immersion portfolio determines how a student shows
the faculty that they are making progress toward achieving the stated
standards or outcomes of the work site.

Writing this portfolio is much more difficult than I anticipated, but I am also
pleased with how this school has shaped me into the person I am today. I
realized that I had learned a lot over the last two years at St. Clare College.
My experience at this school has been filled with ups and downs. The seed
that had been planted in me over the years is now ready to bloom brightly
and to demonstrate how strong I am in the face of all the challenges that
were attempting to obstruct my progress toward my goal. And now I'm here,
ready to graduate alongside my classmates. I will never forget the
knowledge, guidance, advice, and encouragement I received from this
school, St. Clare College, and I will carry it with me as I embark on my next
adventure.
