1- Introduction :

Mandarin or also known as Chinese and Putonghua is the national
language in China. The term Putonghua is commonly used in
China. The ability to speak Mandarin can be seen to increase a
person's competitiveness in the world market, especially in China
which has approximately 1.3 billion people. In addition, several
popular countries also use Mandarin widely such as Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. If you look at it roughly,
learning Mandarin has become a trend at the global level and has
also become a familiar language all over the world. The proof is
that Mandarin is made one of the foreign languages offered to
Malaysian university students to learn. Next, producing an
e-magazine about the Mandarin language is one of the effective
approaches to revealing to the public the correct use of the
Mandarin language. In addition, this approach makes it easier for
users to read e-magazines wherever they are.

2- Appreciation :

In this opportunity, we would like to express our gratitude to all
parties involved in the production of this e-magazine.
Especially, our lecturer Ms.Goh Wei Pin who taught us a lot
during the production period of this e-magazine. We appreciate
your efforts. Next, we would like to thank our family members and
friends who never stop giving us support and encouragement to
continue producing this e-magazine. This small effort is very
valuable to us. Finally, hopefully, this e-magazine can
provide as many benefits to each user.

3- Objective :

The objectives of producing this Mandarin language e-magazine
are:
i. List vocabulary related to animals and living things in

Mandarin accurately with their translations.
ii. Produce an e-magazine that makes it easy for users to learn

Mandarin in a relaxed way.
iii. Demonstrate the correct use of Mandarin vocabulary in

everyday life.

A group of dolphins swimming in water
